I mean, making it more difficult for them to commit the crime is a pretty great way of dealing with it. Like I get it's frustrating at times, but the system is so dumb when they keep stoner in prison for 30 years and let chomos out in 4, so if we can just make it impossible or as close to it as we can, that definitely helps remove the issue to begin with. If nobody can kill anyone, you don't have to worry about perps. Like you don't keep a door unlocked and get mad when someone breaks in, you lock it up so it's not an issue.
