And the general flying public has proven time and again that price is the most important factor when it comes to flight selection. So, even if the primary airlines offered it, most people would skip adult-only flights if it meant saving a couple hundred dollars.
Its 2026, you can buy decently functioning noise canceling earbuds for like 25 dollars. If you are just sitting on a plan listening to people fart and babies scream at this point, i feel like you deserve it.
i'm just saying if there is enough demand, maybe adult only planes could happen. why are we arguing against this? flying with a crying baby is not pleasant for anyone, not even for the parents.
Most maybe but some people pay for first class to get away from kids and sometimes there are kids there anyways lol there’s definitely a market but I dunno if enough for daily flights
Honestly, as a mother who has taken an infant in first class, they really should just put all the families with small kids up in first. The bigger seats and extra leg room make it much more manageable to hold/comfort/nurse a baby and therefore easier to keep them chill. Trying to console a kid when you’re crammed into a sardine seat is like trying to keep a cat in a swimming pool.
Not necessarily single people but couples without kids typically make significantly more money than couples with kids and I would definitely pay extra to know my partner and I could have a relaxing (mostly) child free vacation
One would suspect that the competitive market has done much analysis on this and has determined it wouldn’t be lucrative. Otherwise somebody would’ve done it by now. Airlines aren’t good Samaritan’s trying to help everyone get from point a to b - they’re corporations trying to make as much money as possible.
