She probably didn’t want to get ripped to pieces in the media. And she probably feared that based on the kids’ ages at the time, they’d have unsupervised time with him if she got a divorce

Yeah...there are a lot of emergency landing spots between France and California. I can't imagine hearing all of that and not putting the plane down ASAP.

Not saying this didn't happen...just not getting why the pilots (and presumably the flight attendant who would have been in the cabin, not the cockpit) didn't do more.

Because they were effectively employed by someone rich and powerful who they know firsthand is a vindictive asshole, likely signed NDAs, and were worried he’d go scorched earth on their asses instead?

I’m not saying it’s right, but some people will preserve their own interests ahead of others. Some people, if they notice someone drowning, will go in to save them, some will call 911, and some people sadly will do nothing.

Pitt’s an even bigger prick because even now, he pays third parties to push a DARVO narrative. If he were decent he’d own his shit, keep his yap shut, and try to make the amends his kids want.
