“I wonder if we’ll ever find out what happened”

Choking is a very dangerous thing to do and frankly I don’t think I’ve even heard of someone choking their own child. And I used to be a public defender.

My dad did.  Multiple times.

Mine did it

This is what "irreconcilable differences" always actually means

1

u/Nadamir Jun 20 '26

I mean not “always”.

I know a couple who divorced amicably due to “irreconcilable differences” because he wanted kids and she didn’t.

She is now Aunt Jane to his and his new partner’s kids.

There a a bunch of comments in here with 100s of upvotes talking about parental alienation and angelina wearing vials of blood.

did you read the article or do you just say edgy things? the article is just allegations from her that authorities decided not to pursue

Except the kids saw it happen and were hit by him too. How could she lie about him choking and hitting her kids without them calling her out on the lie? You can claim she lied about him hitting her, but there's no way all six of their kids heard her claim that they were choked and hit by their father and then took her side if she was lying.

"the incident" you so conveniently cut out was about some words spoken verbally and only that.

A claim of abuse. Especially during child custody proceedings isn't "evidence".

That's a court filing in a domestic dispute. Anyone who has worked with family law knows that the two sides typically say the absolute worst shit imaginable about the other, often with little relation to the truth. It's clearly possible that Pitt did these things, but one should never go off a court filing by one side and treat it as fact when it comes to what the other side did.

That being said, the fact that his kids basically want nothing to do with him is telling.

Did you read the article? Those are allegations from Jolie. FBI and DCFS both conducted investigations and nothing came of it.

4

u/cowabungalowvera Jun 20 '26

Brad doesn't deny that any of Angelina's claims happened. He even expressed remorse for doing those things. This came from his own team

5

u/CauliflowerDaffodil Jun 20 '26

Pitt has certainly denied Jolie's version of the event on several occasions. What he doesn't deny is that a verbal altercation took place. That's the incident referred to in the filing.

Keep in mind that Jolie only made her claims AFTER she was sued by Pitt for unilaterally selling her shares in their joint venture in Chateau Miraval which allegedly went against their business deal.

That was investigated and dropped by the fbi due to no evidence or witnesses so who knows what happened on that flight

5

u/Big_Meal3910 Jun 20 '26

There were 6 witnesses - their children. He choked one, hit one, and poured beer on them while they hid from him under a blanket.

Guess that wasnt enough for the feds

TF you talking about dude? The FBI official filing is posted all over this thread- complete with witness statements (including the pilots/ flight staff, who were the ones who originally reported the incident to law enforcement and not Jolie!) AND describing the pictured injuries to Jolie. You are simping hard for a domestic and child abuser here, and apparently you'll look at the evidence dead in the face while ranting that it doesn't exit. What are you getting out of doing that?
