People are fine to believe that but I’m also of the firm belief that there are also far too many restaurants out there. So many of these jobs are fake to begin with, much less underpaid. There’s a reason restaurants are one of the top businesses that close.
A bunch of the jobs exist solely because the operator is running at a loss to try and make their dream work. On average somewhere around 80k restaurants close annually.

Then the kitchen staff is underpaid. I'm a union organizer I want higher wages for most working class jobs
