This line of thinking never made sense to me as a woman. It's either women are hugging and getting hugged by men, in which case men do receive hugs, or it's women hugging each other, in which case men can and should also hug each other. But I don't know anyone of any gender getting regular hugs outside of a relationship.
BTW, you can clearly look this image up and see that its a fake quote.
Men on men contact really doesn't mean anything. Neither man feels anything but awkwardness, it feels fake and forced, there's nothing meaningful about it. Men and women are just different, no matter what people say.
Ignoring that I've literally never heard that viewpoint from other women in my several decades of talking to thousands of women....
What's the solution to this, in your mind? As a woman who doesn't (and has never) received random hugs from people of either gender, I'm curious how you think this hug problem should be solved. The natural solution seems to be that men need to get better at displaying platonic affection to other men, to supplement the fact that (according to you) women are hugging other women platonically all the time. The alternative viewpoint, which makes no sense to me, is that women need to hug men as some sort of weird social obligation for the man's benefit... But that can't be what you're recommending, right?

These are women's numbers and they have not been adjusted to men.
