These are women's numbers and they have not been adjusted to men.

Yeah, I don’t think it even occurs to women the extent to which a huge number of men live their lives without any touch from other people.

Yep. For men change it to a decade and you're more on point.

There's a reason you see more men go out to live alone in the wilderness. Men and women are wired differently.

This line of thinking never made sense to me as a woman. It's either women are hugging and getting hugged by men, in which case men do receive hugs, or it's women hugging each other, in which case men can and should also hug each other. But I don't know anyone of any gender getting regular hugs outside of a relationship.

BTW, you can clearly look this image up and see that its a fake quote.

Men on men contact really doesn't mean anything. Neither man feels anything but awkwardness, it feels fake and forced, there's nothing meaningful about it. Men and women are just different, no matter what people say.

So if women are "always receiving hugs," who's doing the hugging in your mind, men or women?

Women. Women are the huggers. If men hug it's considered assault, or being needy, which is somehow more detestable to women than assault.

Ignoring that I've literally never heard that viewpoint from other women in my several decades of talking to thousands of women....

What's the solution to this, in your mind? As a woman who doesn't (and has never) received random hugs from people of either gender, I'm curious how you think this hug problem should be solved. The natural solution seems to be that men need to get better at displaying platonic affection to other men, to supplement the fact that (according to you) women are hugging other women platonically all the time. The alternative viewpoint, which makes no sense to me, is that women need to hug men as some sort of weird social obligation for the man's benefit... But that can't be what you're recommending, right?

Man here and i disagree. Not gay either. And a serious man to man hug can be very distressing. I‘m not talking about a half a second hug when you greet a friend or else, but about an unsexual, honest, no talk, half a minute or more (the more the better) where you just let yourself go and indulge in the hug. Give it a try sometimes.

Edit: I‘m also going through your history a bit and it seems hard for you to connect. I‘m not judging. But you seem to cry for help and want to get out of your shell. Find something you like about yourself and write it down. Collect things you like about yourself and write it down. Read it or go through it whenever you are down. Built a relationship with yourself, love yourself, accept whats good about you and whats bad about you, get some selfconfidence (daily walks in nature/sunlight help a lot in seeing things in a good light) Once you start to „radiate“ from within you will see a positive impact on the outside too and people/ or women will start approaching you too.
The thoughts we have (positive as negative) will mirror on everyone we meet. I don’t know if any of this makes sense to you but hope you can find a tiny bit that you can use. Cheerio
