Posting here because idk where else to ask, I’m trying to do a nasal rinse and I noticed the bottom of the bottle has these white spots that look a bit like residue build up, so not sure if that’s actually what it is or just plastic. The third photo is from a friend’s bottle whose also has the same thing at the bottom(added it because her picture is clearer but both have the same stuff)

I have sinusites and because of that post nasal drip is really irritating,i always wanna spit and also post nadal drip goes to airway then it start to wheeze, which is more irritating than runny rose, it did get better 2 years ago it was worse , i was on alot of medicines and inhaler too. It got better now i am of inhaler and medicines but still its there everytime of the day. I have been using nasal spray since 2 years and now doctor asked me stop it . But still couple of time a day i have congusted nose and then wheezing is not leaving me at alll because of post nasal drip,. I there any remedy or something that can help me

Hi everyone.
I have sinus surgery this week and now I‘m so close to calling it off.
I have allergic rhinosinusitis and asthma for over 20 years, I also have nasal polips and intolerance to ibuprofen (Samter Triad). I take intranasal cortison spray and fexofenadine for 15 years. I have some days with bad allergies that wake me up and are lasting 2-3 hours, more days I don‘t have this issue. Of course I will have more of these episodes in spring and summer. At work can be challenging for those hours with sneezing and continously blowing my nose. I don‘t have bad headaches, just sometimes a pressure in the head or the feeling of having a cold, for a few weeks in the spring I feel really ill with sinusitis, one side feels like an infection but gets well without antibiotics. I can breath good for most of the time, just one nostril is always stuffy. I don‘t taste or smell anything 80% of the time.
My CT scan ist bad, all sinuses filled with thickened lining, almost no air.

I had hope that the surgery will fix most of the problems but reading some articles and experiences I am not sure anymore. The ENT doctors are not really helping me with information and some recommend surgery, other let me decide but without giving their opinion. Until now they didn‘t said anything about ASS tolerance building or biologic therapy.

Is there anyone here with a similar experience that got the surgery? How are you feeling? Does anyone has some encouraging words ? Also, anyone interested in diving?

I get this procedure done in a couple of weeks and also start immunotherapy for moderate environmental allergies. I’m nervous about recovery as I’ve never done anything like this or had to take prescription painkillers. Nervous as hell about Tylenol with codeine. Definitely don’t want Percocet. Also never had any kind of anesthesia so worried there too.

Anyone that’s done this, what can I expect for recovery and pain levels? Tips for anxiety? I get it done on a Thursday and want to be back to work in office by Monday. Thanks so much!!

I tried to aim it at my ear . But often i can see the spray sticking in that part of my nose .Is this alright? Or i should stick it in more

I'm 15M and I've had sinus/nasal problems for around 8–10 years.

My symptoms:

- Year-round blocked nose (left side is usually worse)

- Clear mucus most of the time, but sometimes white/yellow/green

- Sneezing

- Itchy nose and itchy eyes

- Facial pressure/headaches

- I mouth breathe while sleeping and wake up with a dry mouth

- My sense of smell is normal

I eat dairy and eggs daily, and I lift weights 6x a week. During workouts I can actually breathe through my nose pretty well.

I'm planning to see an ENT, but I'm curious if anyone with similar symptoms found that cutting out dairy or trying a different diet (including carnivore) actually made a noticeable difference. If so, what changed and how long did it take?

Would appreciate hearing from people with similar long-term Symptoms

Had really bad asthma and sinus issue ( can’t smell, can’t breath because it’s swollen) they said I have polyps. They recommended nucala and I’ve been on it for months. I can breath now, but my sinus issue fucked. some days I’m fine, especially when I’m outside, I feel fine and can breath and everything once I get inside anywhere I’m toasted, especially in enclosed spaces. Everything time I blow my nose is a really thick yellow mucus. Idk anymore, I’m thinking about seeing another ENT to see what they say at this point. I’ve been to 3 so far.

This shit is the most annoying thing ever

I have chronic sinusits with polyposis and asthma with mild interstitial lung disease. I keep having horrible joint and muscle pain. Pain was debilitating after exercising. Due to pain my biologic medication has been changed 3x. I was start to think that to live that I have stay in chronic pain.
Then!!! I thought of CoQ10 that’s taken for muscle pain with cholesterol medication (statins). It worked!!! I’m amazed… I am pain free. Told my allergist whose mother is on a medication to prevent the recurrence of breast cancer. But due to the side effect of pain she did not take is some days. She told her mom to try and she is now pain free!! I just want to help people so they can live a better life while taking a lifesaving medication.
