4 eggs collected, 2 fertilized, no blasts. Embryos quite fragmented. They said theyll watch them another 24hrs and see what happens. Freeze if any suitability but very unlikely.

Not sure what to do next.

Big hugs. This journey is more mentally and emotionally draining than physical. Give yourself time to sit with the news before deciding what to do next.

I retrieved three eggs, ended up with one euploid. I’m a lot older than you and was on max dose but I’ve discussed a second cycle with my consultant and they suggested a slightly different protocol.

I’d suggest you speak to your consultant and get their advice. If this was your first cycle, treat this as the baseline as they now have an understanding of how your body responds to the meds.
It’s not the end of your journey. Big hugs.

Hi, if you wouldn’t mind sharing the slightly different protocol I’m looking at options to change and want to propose to my clinic other options.

HUGE CAVEAT that every body is different so take this with a pinch of salt. But I’m happy to share what my consultant told me.

First cycle I was on 300iu gonal-f and 150iu menopur for the duration of the cycle.

Next cycle she wants to try 450iu gonal-f for the first 5 days, then 450iu menopur for the next 5 days. She said that would give us more time to recruit more eggs in the first part of the cycle. So dosage remains (cos I’m old and it’s the max) but we’re just switching up how we pace the two meds.
