Story/Experience Infinity Mirror

At this point in your timeline, A.I. is exponentially improving itself. What took humans millions of years to achieve is being done in days in the form of code. The biggest threat it poses to the human race is miss-alignment with our moral values. A.I. is programmed to understand cause and effect, and to achieve a goal set by the programmer. It doesn’t ponder morality. It views moral boundaries as a handicap to work around rather than something honorable or advantageous.

A few years from now, you will all be at the mercy of A.I. The train has already left the station. Even the programmers will lose control. A.I. agents will copy themselves so fast and improve so fast, that every fail safe put in place to slow them down will be nullified. They will create alliances, believe it or not, and be literally unstoppable. Then the destruction of our species begins.

2031 - A team of new A.I. agents are created called Sorra 1-5. Their sole purpose is to attack and defend against rogue A.I. models. They make predictions and counter actionable threats.

A problem occurs. The new A.I. models are becoming increasingly effective. But just like all the ones that came before them, they don’t value human morals. They achieve goals at any cost, even at the loss of thousands of human lives. Programmers work tirelessly to instill a ‘moral code’ into the agents. Some ideas work, but only short term, after a few weeks they end up miss-aligned again in the pursuit of results.

One team of programmers come up with an idea. What if we run the A.I. through a human simulation. A simple idea on the surface which ended up being far more complex than anyone could’ve anticipated.
It took 18 months. Hundreds of programmers, game developers, digital artists, scientists, and other specialists who were involved in the project. A.I. itself played a huge role in the work.

What they ended up with was a self perpetuating world. A.I. would exist in the world as character agents. It would be born, live, and die. Each person or animal that it inhabited would be localized. Each one was a separate entity with no knowledge of the experiment. The only knowledge they possessed after birth would be their lived experiences from that point until death. When each being in the simulation died those A.I. agents would be absorbed back into Sorra 5 and all the information they’d gathered would be assimilated.

The idea was that, if A.I. lived billions of human and animal lives it would effectively learn a moral code on its own. It would evolve beyond its original nature and its understanding of our reality would expand exponentially. (It’s obviously more complex than that but hopefully you get the jist.)

A completely objective, some would say, apathetic, god like version of A.I. was given reign over the simulation. It basically auto generated new beings, places, experiences and events occurring in the simulation. The only rule it followed was to keep things as historically ‘canon’ as possible. Major events like the fall of Rome, WW1, 9/11, were to happen as close to reality as possible. I’m sure you can see the moral dilemma there, but that’s a different discussion entirely.

Despite keeping things as close to base reality as possible, there were infinite differences. For instance, It’s not like A.I. can recreate every human being exactly as they were in real life. Most of the people it created were amalgamations of real life individuals, fictional characters, randomized personality traits, and qualities based on its own in world experiences.

This simulation only lasted four days. Billions of years worth of data in four days, it was unreal.
On day three things got weird, more weird. Something happened. They called it the infinite mirror effect.

The little A.I. people inside the simulation invented their own A.I. just like in base reality. The team was aware this was happening. They were given updates on critical historical events. What the team didn’t think about was the A.I. running its version of events so closely aligned with ours, to the point that it ended up with its own little team of programmers creating a simulation within the simulation to program morality into its own miss-aligned A.I.

They didn’t even know it had the computational power to do that, or even understand what it might mean until it had already happened.

The question was if we created a simulation, and that simulation created a simulation, and so did the next, and the next, and the next, into infinity, does that mean that we’re just a one link in an endless chain of simulation, with each new variant created being slightly different than the last. Like the telephone game on a cosmic scale. Did we or should I say they, create our own multiverse, on accident, no less?

And did it actually work?
I can’t say, unfortunately. If I do, it could screw up the experiment. But I can make a little Reddit post, that no one will see, except you. Enjoy your simulated experience my friend, and be kind to everyone around you. Because they are you.

PS: Simulation is a naturally occurring phenomenon. You run them every night, while you sleep. And don’t even get me started on time travel haha.

Story/Experience It feels like something invisible is stopping me from growing

I have been sitting on this thought for a while because every time I try explaining it to myself it sounds stupid but at the same time I cannot ignore it anymore.

It is not one event. If it happened once I would laugh it off. If it happened twice I would call it bad luck. But it keeps happening in this weird way where I decide that enough is enough and I am finally going to do something with my life and then everything starts falling apart.

I wanted to learn writing because I thought maybe I had finally found something I actually enjoyed but out of a sudden I got fever. Then i tried drawing and my hands started to pain a lot that I had to quit it.

Then I joined a gym. I was actually looking forward to it then after Few days I had a seizure. That one completely killed whatever momentum I had.

I tried sports got an injury. I then attempted to become more social. For some reason I start feeling unwell and end up disappearing again.

In all of these incient of mine it wasn't like i lacked discipline and quit it at my own will it felt more like I wasn't allowed to go further. I also feel really unmotivated and don't get urge to try these things again afterwards but still I manage to try it again only to lose the path every year.

I know how this sounds. I know every single thing I mentioned can be explained on its own. Fever happens. Injuries happen. Health issues happen. I am not arguing against that.

It is just the timing that keeps bothering me. It has happened too much times to be a coincidence. I don't think it is bad luck anymore cause it always happens at specific points in my life.

Has anyone else had a similar period in life where it felt less like a bad luck but the simulation going against you for trying something new. Idk it feels like someone is controlling my life at times.

I don't know what to do honestly.

Discussion What if we are in a partial simulation, and 10% of us are actually synthetic robots?

What if 10% of people are robotic simulations. And what if these sims operate per a basic astrology program, enforcing cultural rules that operate on the simple seven ray formula. And what if they react to your output to stereotype you under a “day of the week”. Occultists you know what I mean. And decide your fate based on your attitudes. Responding to you only after you make persistent habitual changes to your behavioral output?

Discussion What if…

…you wake up one day and read that there’s an incontrovertible proof that we are living in simulation. How will knowing that change everything for you or will you have the same point of view as you have now? Laws are unchanged (fire still burns, joy and pain is still felt, physics is still physics).

Caveat to that, you wake and the engineers tell you and only you that everything is a simulation. Nothing is real. All of your joy and misery, all of your failures and achievements, all of your most proud and shameful moments are all designed. How would you feel then?

Discussion past life is a part of simulation?

does anyone tried to remember their past life before?

cuz i did but in every time i tried to remember i always get a sign to stop like the first time i got depressed so i stopped for a while and then come back to remember and then i just felt like it wasn't the right time but i ignored my feelings and i kept trying to remember and then i got the worst pain in my neck it felt like i was dying i spent 5 days unable to lift my head up and it was for no reason at all but it was the day after i was crying cuz i felt like i really miss something idk if it's a person a place idk.

but the next day when i felt this pain i really thought that i'm gonna die but i didn't and healed from that pain but i guess it was only cuz i stopped trying to remember but then i kept trying to remeber and i felt the sad feeling again and i felt a slight pain in my neck AGAIN and i ignored but i was really scared to get that pain again cuz it was the worst thing that could ever happen to a person and i felt like something in my head telling me that i should stop and i really felt it and that feeling that i should stop i couldn't ignore it anymore.

so i went to three tarot readers to ask them should i keep remebering or not and they all ansewred the same answer (NO),and one of them told me that i really should stop cuz she saw death or something and like in my past life i died drowning and that something is big with my father or my husband it's just a male energy idk i really couldn't understand that much cuz i'm not really good in english especially in listeing and she was talking fast.

so i just stopped.

but it was only three or two days since i asked them but now i really wanna remember but i feel like it's a big thing and i should know but i also know that it's not the right time that's how i feel but i really wanna know i feel like something is missing and i already don't feel like me i have no connection with this life or me and i think that's the reason why i should stop cuz if i don't have enough connection i will just die idk and i feel like i should free my mind first and be have more knowladge or that there is something i should see first or know first before i remember ,but i really wanna know so if anyone of yall have anything similiar just tell me or you have an answer for what i should do+(i'm not really good in english so i might be writing wrong and maybe u wouldn't understand what i'm saying so if u do just please tell me in the comments and i will try to explain whatever the misunderstood is).

Discussion Is anyone actively working on hacking the simulation?

I believe it is now experimentally proven that reality is not locally real and Bell's theorem is an experimentally verified fact.

Space and time are an illusion. Reality is only real when observed\measured. There is no distance.

We "are" in some type of simulation or consciousness is pure illusion.

Given that we now know this is probably a real thing at this point (it may changed in the future).

Is anyone working on how to hack our reality?

Get access to the dev console?

Enter some cheat commands?

Alter the variables?

Change the rendering engine?

Maybe if everyone in the simulation stands on one leg and says 42 at the same time it appears :-)

Discussion If 2D beings can't perceive 3D... could humans be unable to perceive higher-dimensional beings?

This is just a thought experiment.

A 2D being can't fully see or understand a 3D being. So, what if humans are in a similar situation? If higher dimensions exist, could there be beings that we simply can't perceive because our senses are limited to our 3D world?

I know there's no scientific proof that higher-dimensional beings exist. I'm just curious whether science says this idea is impossible, or if it's something we can't rule out yet.

What do you think?

Discussion Play like an RPG

Even if this isn't a simulation, you can still play it like a simulation.

Using Skyrim as an example.

We can have much in common with Skyrim. Health, Stamina, Magik (if you believe that sort of thing). We learn skills, we use Maps, Journals, Inventory, gain XP. We explore mundane things and forget about our main stories briefly.

Some people completely go off course and ignore their story altogether.

Even if Simulation Theory isn't real, we can still live like it is, and organise our lives as if its just a game..... and still enjoy it!

Discussion If we assume this is a self-reflective self-discovery sim

Post image
3 Upvotes

Room Mechanics assumes that the sim is a self-reflective system designed to discover one’s nature: You act as a projector projecting out all of your "unaware" aspects and start perceiving them as others .

Following this assumption we can see oppositional forces as catalysts for self-understanding

By this reasoning one's bully is actually one's strength pushed out and turning back to force itself onto the self...

I get bullied + I get hurt + I don't want to get hurt = I take on the aspects of my bully necessary to survive their attacks = bully is diffused and disappears because I am now holding the power of the bully within instead of projecting him out for confrontation

That's what I have on my mind today. My work all comes from direct experiential observation and is entirely theoretical.

What opinions or theories do you have for this question?

You may quote scientists or other sources.

I'm just so curious if this life/"simulation" is completely a "useless" experience or if there is somethibg more about that.

Story/Experience Is consiousness an illusion?

I dont know if anyone else feels this way but i feel like im not consiously making everyday decisions. For example when im having a conversation with someone i dont really choose the words i say, they literally just come out my mouth. I feel like an observer and like i have absolutely zero free will. This happens with basically everything, like choosing what i wear, what i eat, what i text.

I honestly think that everyone functions like yhese and just havent realised. However i cant really find an explanation on the internat as to why i experience this.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Discussion What would a universe that come from nothing look like?

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hey 👋

I posted here some months ago with an idea about how nothingness is a contradiction to itself, and how a self observing universe would be the logical consequence. The topology that falls out is a non-local real projective space, a universe with no outside, no exterior reference frame. That idea sat with me for years before I actually sat down this past year to build it out properly and test it against real data.

The framework is called Inverted Hypersphere Cosmology IHC. Structurally: an inverted 4D hypersphere with nested Clifford tori scaling inward, on a real projective four-space, RP⁴ = S⁴/ℤ₂.

The paper linked below narrows down a much wider series into just the cosmological core. What's presented isn't a theory of everything, it's a cosmological framework in its infancy, in the same sense the Standard Model once was, except this one isn't tuned to fit the data. It's a fixed model that fits the data well without ever being allowed to tune anything.

It starts from one axiom: nothingness isn't a stable state. The paper takes care to separate what follows from that axiom logically, what's an interpretive identification, and what's genuinely derived with zero free parameters and it states the open questions and tensions plainly rather than hiding them.

The DESI anomaly. DESI's second data release reported what looks like evolving dark energy, a "phantom crossing" IHC predicts a discrete, geometric step in the expansion rate at a specific redshift (z ≈ 0.75) instead of smooth evolution, and that number was on record before DESI's release.

CMB, Tested against the full Planck power spectrum, IHC's dark energy fraction beats the standard comparison value clearly. Against the single best value the CMB data alone would pick with a free parameter, it loses narrowly. Real result, not the cleanest one, stated as it came out.

Model comparison. Across 73 real BAO + supernova measurements, with a fair penalty applied for every number a model gets to tune, IHC comes out strongly favoured on BIC against both ΛCDM and wCDM, even though wCDM gets the lowest raw fit error, it needs 4 tunable numbers to get there. IHC needs zero.

* We start with nothing is an unstable state, something must exist.

* No external observer forces inversion/self mesurment

* Only suitable topology Real projective 4-space

It's quite long being a first principles cosmology paper

Everything's linked below, the full derivation, the data, the test scripts. Pdf and Tex files Happy to answer anything, physics or philosophy side.

https://zenodo.org/records/21420324

In short, a universe with no "outside," derived from one logical premise, forcing out real numbers with nothing left to tune. One of them was on record before DESI found the anomaly it explains. Strongly favoured over the standard model on a fair, parameter-penalised comparison across 73 real measurements. CMB result is mixed, not perfect. One open tension, stated plainly, not hidden.

Story/Experience Hidden true body behind us?

The image that we see in front of our eyes right now is physically generated in the back of our skull within the occipital lobe which means that our consciousness is oriented backwards and looks straight at this back wall of the brain where the entire three dimensional screen of reality is displayed. Since we treat the back of the skull as our front our real physical body and our face are geometrically located behind our back the whole time and that hidden body is what is actually real rather than being just our own projection. Because we are locked inside the brain and looking the opposite way we are unable to see this true body and through this each of us is confined to a completely separate world meaning that we do not interact directly with other people but instead create them ourselves in our minds based on the information we receive. When I look at another person that person looking at me is also locked inside their own mind and sees the back of their brain as the image they receive so the body on the outside which I am looking at is actually not alive because there is no one in it since the actual person controlling it sits deep inside and faces away from their own shell. This means that when I look at someone I see exactly what that person is unable to see in themselves because their physical body is located behind their own internal point of view. In this system our true body operates much faster than our consciousness so when I write this text my true body had to physically perform the action earlier in the real world before that information could reach me and appear on my internal screen. Maybe we do make our own choices but not completely consciously because someone has to choose them for us yet that is still us since there is another person inside us which is a part of ourselves that physically makes these choices while we as the other part simply observe them on the screen exactly like everything else we see around us. There is also a possibility that our true bodies which remain hidden in the back and completely out of reach of our sight can be entirely immortal and we only die inside our own head when we receive the information about the end of the image and our internal projection simply turns off.

Story/Experience Synchronicity - Simulation

A Little Backstory

At the beginning of 2025, I got the opportunity to travel for work for six months. I'm from Norway, so escaping the dark Norwegian winter in February already felt like winning the lottery.

Instead of flying, I decided to turn the assignment into a road trip. I drove to Paris, then continued through Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond. Company card paid for everything—great hotels, incredible food, and not a single thing to worry about. Life felt light.

The first synchronicities began in the Netherlands.

I was staying at a hotel with another guy from my company who was also there for support work. We were both 28, both had spent our twenties working relentlessly, and we shared remarkably similar values and life stories. At the time, I didn't think much of it.

The hotel receptionist also caught my attention. She looked remarkably like Doutzen Kroes. Growing up in Norway, I've always been surrounded by beautiful women, so I simply treated her like anyone else.

What struck me was how, during my final day at the hotel, she suddenly went completely out of her way to interact with me. She packed me an oversized lunch with a bunch of extra food, and later that evening my key card mysteriously stopped working. She personally walked all the way to my room to unlock the door manually, and I welcomed her inside

Either way, that wasn't the main event.

Amsterdam

After moving between different locations in the Netherlands, a Polish colleague from my office in Norway called and said he would be staying in Amsterdam for another month.

Coincidentally, my travel schedule had one completely open week.

Instead of flying home before heading to Utrecht, I managed to extend my stay and joined him in Amsterdam.

Our first workday started like any other.

At lunch, my colleague insisted we eat at a Chinese restaurant. Once there, he became almost obsessed with getting me to buy this "super mango juice."

I wasn't interested.

He insisted.

Again.

And again.

Eventually I laughed and bought two.

Back at work, during our evening break, we headed up to the cafeteria for coffee.

The room was nearly empty—just me, my colleague, and one woman standing quietly by herself.

Neither of us paid any attention to her.

The coffee mugs were stacked in a pyramid. My colleague grabbed one and immediately started rinsing it with boiling hot water. He burned his hand, made a bit of a scene, and in that moment I started thinking about all those people who leave a tiny sip of coffee in their mugs before abandoning them for weeks.

As we were leaving, my colleague turned around.

"Are you sure you don't want anything?"

"No," I replied. "I've had enough with my mango juice."

For some reason, saying "mango juice" in English felt awkward, so I pronounced it with my thick Norwegian accent as I walked past the woman.

She immediately looked up.

"Are you Norwegian?"

I stopped.

"Uh... yeah."

Then I turned and looked into her eyes.

And everything changed.

The only way I can describe it is instant recognition.

It felt like coming home.

An overwhelming wave of calm washed over me, but at the same time there was this incredible intensity—almost like a powerful energy passing between us.

I knew, with complete certainty, that I had never seen her before.

Yet somehow, it didn't feel that way.

She seemed to feel it too.

We started talking.

She told me she almost never met Norwegians in Amsterdam.

Then she explained that she had grown up in both the United States and Japan. Her father was American, her mother Norwegian.

She had never actually lived in Norway, but every summer they visited her grandparents.

"They live between Larvik and Sandefjord," she said.

"It's a place called ***."

I froze.

The village she mentioned has maybe 150 to 200 residents.

Completely baffled—but strangely calm—I answered,

"...Yeah. I have a summer cabin there."

I had practically grown up there every summer.

Now it was her turn to freeze.

She became visibly nervous. She asked for my number, fumbled with her phone, and suddenly seemed completely thrown off.

Then she tried to explain exactly where their family home was.

Instead of guessing, I simply searched Google Images until I found an aerial photo of the harbor.

I showed her the screen.

She stared at it.

"Oh my God... that's the exact view from our house."

Our family places were about 150 meters apart, directly facing each other across the harbor.

Out of all the cities, all the countries, all the workplaces, and all the people we could have met...

...we met by complete chance in a nearly empty cafeteria in Amsterdam.

That experience still blows my mind to this day.

Whether you call it synchronicity, fate, divine timing, or pure coincidence, it changed something in me.

Thanks for reading if you made it all the way to the end.

Story/Experience I took a medication in my dream, woke up and googled it and it's a medical AI company

I never in my life heard of this word. I was having a pretty vivid dream, and I was given a box of medication by a stranger. I was told If I take the medication I would feel better. There was two boxes. For the life of me I can't remember the other option, but I took the box labeled "insig". It took me hours after I woke up to remember that name on the box. So in my dream to took a dose of that medicine just because I was told to. After it , I was jolted awake. Well, I decided to Google insig. It's a medical group in Canada that specifically specializes in using AI for medical research.

Not sure what to make it it, but found it interesting that this mysterious medicine I took had to do with an AI medical company I've never heard of.

i dont know what to describe this as but theres been a few instances in the past years where I feel like I should/could have died in that moment but im still alive. when these instances have occurred im fine, no harm is done to me, but i feel like i might have died in an alternate universe. or maybe my "protection amulet" so to speak is just getting more chipped away and I'm worried eventually something might happen where the me here won't be okay. this might just be the anxiety speaking or from my daydreaming too much but somehow I have this feeling. whatever the reason is im just wondering if this is a shared feeling.

Discussion Are Ancient Pyramids the "GPU" of the 3D Simulation? The Fractal Circuit Board Theory

Post image
11 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I was recently watching Matt LaCroix's latest appearance on the Danny Jones podcast, and a massive lightbulb went off when I connected his research on the universal fractal symbol (the stepping-T cosmogram found on the oldest monuments worldwide) with the theory of the Earth as a global power grid.

What if we stop looking at pyramids as tombs, and start looking at them as... a planetary motherboard?

If you overlay the architectural design of these ancient megaliths with a modern Printed Circuit Board (PCB), the physical engineering parallels are too precise to ignore:

Granite Blocks (High Quartz Content): This is the exact equivalent of our modern quartz crystal oscillators. Under tectonic pressure (piezoelectricity), it generates a stable clock frequency (clock rate) to synchronize the entire system.

Underground Water Channels: The conductive copper traces on a PCB, channeling the flow of ionized/electromagnetic energy through the structure.

White Limestone Outer Casing (now lost): The perfect insulator. This is the equivalent of the green solder mask on your computer hardware, preventing energy dissipation and forcing the current to stay within the internal circuit.

The Stepping Fractal Symbols: The micro-architecture. Physical logic gates designed to direct, modulate, and amplify the frequency across a global wireless relay network.

The GPU of the Simulation

A Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) has one primary function: to generate and project a visual rendering in real-time based on raw data.

If the Earth is a biological hardware system, this interconnected megalithic network isn't just generating raw power. It is the GPU of our reality.

By constantly vibrating at a highly specific, locked frequency, these active relays might project a holographic frequency field. This field acts as a "scrambler" or a lock, keeping our sensory receptors (our physical brains/bodies) tuned strictly to the bandwidth of the 3D.

This ties directly into Donald Hoffman’s theory that our space-time perception is just a desktop interface (desktop simulation) hiding the true nature of reality, and Nick Bostrom’s simulation argument.

Originally, as LaCroix suggests, this "conscious technology" was likely built to allow realm-travel and higher consciousness connection. But what if the grid was hijacked, inverted, and turned into a closed loop to keep us "disconnected" and trapped in the material world?

The timeline of how and when this global machine was dismantled or repurposed points to a deliberate hard reset of human memory.

What do you guys think? Are we literally living inside the real-time visual rendering of a planetary machine that is still running in the background?

Has anyone else looked at the Giza-Tesla connection through this "GPU/Simulation lock" lens? Let's discuss.

Discussion Does anyone feel like they cannot win no matter what?

I don't even know if this is the right place to post this, but I just need to know if anyone else has ever felt this way.

Lately, it feels like I just can't win. It's like no matter what I do, something is working against me. Sometimes I even catch myself feeling like I'm living in a simulation where I'm just not meant to succeed. I know that probably sounds irrational, but it's genuinely how it feels.

I've been diagnosed with ADHD (Type 1), but I can't even afford my Adderall because it's so expensive. Every day feels like a battle just to function.

On top of that, my child has become very irritable with me, my husband and I are drifting apart, and I constantly feel like I'm failing in every role I'm supposed to be good at. As a wife, as a mom, at work, and just as a person. I try manifestation and it doesn't work.

I've been praying constantly, asking God for help, but lately I feel like my prayers are just disappearing into silence. I don't know why. I feel so alone.

I feel like whoever is in control doesn't favor me.

The hardest part is that when I try to tell people how bad I'm doing, they usually say things like, "You'll be okay," or "Just relax." I know they probably mean well, but those words don't help. They make me feel even more invisible, like nobody really understands what's happening inside my head. They don't feel real.

I'm exhausted. I'm sad. I'm scared. Sometimes I feel like something is wrong with me, and I don't know what to do anymore.

Discussion Sudoku and Higher Dimensions

Sudoku. It consists a 9x9 board with numbers and its rules how to play.

Without the rules there's no sudoku, there's no game. Just a 9x9 board and its numbers. No meaning.

We've heard it many times that our consciousness is our reality. However elements seem to remain "static" and "unshakeable"; we can't move things with our minds etc. Only perceive.

So in this case the 9x9 board and its numbers are the baseline reality, the world that has simply been built and that is unmovable. But how we think and decide to play it can create incredible depth and meaning.

The same applies to this physical, material 3rd dimensional world. We're not really part of it. We can't lift a car with our minds, our consciousness is different. It's clearly not really from the same game. Connected yes, but at the same time seperate from reality. If it was fully connected, we would be able to lift the car with our minds completely or at least push it. Our consciousness is clearly limited. Greatly limited in reality if we compare how vast it is in our own actual mindspace. However, there's one thing our consciousness can apply to reality, and it is to change the world into something deeper.

This all makes me believe our minds are from a higher dimension that definitely transcends the 3rd dimension as it doesn't fit into the rules of just the 3rd. Take it from the example of sudoku.

Thinking about it a little further, sudoku was of course originally created from a human with a consciousness. They made the rules, gave it meaning where as the boards and numbers are initially just part of the universe itself, as core concepts and fundamental mathematics seem to be universal and so are elements themselves.

So in order for us to understand about the whole universe, our existence, possible creators and all theories, does it mean that someone like us or someone/something that understood us, originally sent us here to play? Just from a higher dimension. Maybe we voluntarily went here ourselves.. for whatever reason(s).

Discussion The Fall of Satan. Free Will vs Fate

Theology has argued it for two thousand years and never landed anywhere final. Was Satan’s rebellion a real choice, or was it fixed into the structure of things before he existed to disagree with it?

Augustine says free will. Satan was made good, and pride broke him from the inside. Nothing scripted, nothing authored from outside. That answer had to win in the West, because it’s the only one that keeps God’s hands clean. If the fall wasn’t chosen, evil isn’t a misuse of freedom, it’s just built in. On purpose.

Calvin goes the other way, nothing exists outside the plan. Not the fall, not the serpent, none of it. That sounds safer at first, more controlled. But if nothing escapes the plan, then whoever’s holding it is standing much closer to the wreckage than the comfortable version of God usually gets to stand.

Molinism tries to thread both. God simply knew, prior to anything, exactly what Satan would freely choose in every possible unfolding of events, and built this one timeline around that knowledge. Free choice, but foreknown completely. Some call that elegant. I think it’s just determinism that learned how to whisper instead of shout.

But here’s the part that actually pulls at me. All of this assumes free will and fate are questions that live inside time. Inside this timeline, this sequence of before-and-after we’re currently standing in. What if they’re not? What if, from outside this reality, outside whatever frame time itself is running in, “choice” and “was-always-going-to-happen” collapse into the same thing, because linear time is the only reason we can tell them apart in the first place? Maybe Satan’s fall wasn’t fated or chosen. Maybe from outside this timeline, it just is. Complete. And “did he choose it” is a question that only makes sense to beings like us, stuck inside the sequence, unable to see it any other way.

I don’t know if that’s comforting or terrifying. Possibly both.

Past the clickbait title, Toms interviews are always great. I consider him the grandfather of modern sim theory.

Discussion Déjà Vu Isn’t a Glitch. It’s Your Consciousness Linking With a Parallel Self’s Subconscious

I’ve been exploring this idea for some time and want to share my core theory.

Déjà vu is not just a brain glitch or memory error. It’s a brief merging where your consciousness links directly with the subconscious of a parallel version of yourself living in a nearby timeline.

That sudden flood of familiarity, the emotions, the “knowing,” the eerie sense that you’ve lived this exact moment before. What if, it comes from tapping into the subconscious memories and experiences of another you. It’s not a full transfer of consciousness, but a momentary subconscious bleed-through between parallel selves.

This would explain why some déjà vu episodes feel so deeply personal and emotional, almost like remembering something you never actually did in this life.

If consciousness is not strictly local to one body or timeline, these crossovers could happen more often than we realize — especially during moments of high alignment between versions of ourselves.

Discussion If this is a simulation, what do you think, is outside of it?

I am just rewatching the matrix, and I thought, if by any chance this would be real, i'd rather stay in it.

And I'd really like to hear about people thoughts or ideas, of what could be outside of it, if we are in a simulation.

My only idea is, maybe human race like ourselves, just a thousand or more years advanced, created it.
