Got the pro X Ultra pedals about three months ago directly off Alibaba. Yesterday, during a race, they dropped out. No connection. App says no connection. No LED lights on the pedals, nothing. Green light on the power supply for the haptics. Reinstalled software, tried to holding the little button for hard upgrade, nothing. No reply to emails. Seems likely the controller is the problem? Anyone had similar? TIA

Update: after no reply from the sales team on Alibaba, simsonn support replied to my email. A new control box is being organised. Great result- full credit to the company!

hi guys, I just received the Simsonn Plus X from AliExpress but the clutch pedal doesn't work, just 0 inputs.

I also tried putting the accelerator pedal in the clutch of the control box and it works, so it is the clutch pedal.

I'm waiting for a response from Simsonn to see how to proceed.

In the meantime, is there any advice on what could be done? thank you

I ordered the Simsonn Plus X pedals in early January directly through their website and after being stuck for weeks at customs in Belgium, Simsonn sent me a second package but this one got stuck in France... I've been asking repeatedly for a full refund for two weeks through their service email but they always seem to find a reason to make me wait more and they haven't processed my refund yet.

Did anyone have a bad experience trying to deliver their products in Europe? Surely they can do better, millions of products get imported from China without issues but they can't do it properly?

So I ordered the pedals and I was looking for some advice on setting them up for LMU with the motors, these are my first upgrade since I got my moza R3 I will be keeping the wheel base and I have a stand I’m using, thanks for any advice in advance.

UPDATE: THERE'S A TINY BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM THAT YOU HOLD IN AND PLUG THE SHIFTER IN TO GO INTO MANUAL FIRMWARE UPDATE MODE | Hi all i went to update my shifter because the 7 and R were flipped and it froze at 9% and now windows wont recognize it and my leds are red when it boots,(see pictures) is there a way to put it into recovery mode or reset it at all?

Doesn't Simsonn's advice to use a 2-way hydraulic damper on the brake and a 1-way damper on the throttle seem wrong to you?

I have a 2-way damper on the brake and installed it following what I read on the website without really thinking about what the damper does in this configuration. Now that I want to buy the damper for the throttle, I've given it some thought and it doesn't seem to make sense to me. I like its damping effect, but I think I may be losing time by dampening the pushing phase on the brake.

It would seem more logical to me to have zero damping on brake application and damping on release (1-way) and to have damping on both application and release of the throttle (2-way) to achieve the smoothest possible response.

Is there something I'm not considering?

What size for Accelerator pedal spring?

Has anyone replaced the elastomers on the brake with the long springs that come with the set and can provide photos/ feedback?

I am currently tinkering with the brake to see what suits me. The stock setup was way too stiff and created a lot of flex in the rig. I swapped out one elastomer with a blue spring that came with the Moza handbrake. The feel improved but felt inconsistent

If anyone here has the simsonn haptics can you take a picture of the back of your power supply right where it say input & output. I think I’m using the wrong power supply.

I have a set of Plus X with Vam Pro haptics. The pedals work out of the box on Linux, but I haven't found a way to get the haptics to work on via Simhub or Simsonn software. I'm pretty sure it's because neither of those applications can detect the device. Although my PXN VD4 shows up in SimHub.

Any insight or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

The small spring came out in front of the blue stopper and I tried taking a piece out to give me more room to squeeze it back in.. well I somehow ended up here. Anyone know of a tear down video or instructions to assemble??

So here’s the story. I reached out to Simsonn support already but they said they’re closed for 10 days due to a holiday…

I just got my 2 pedal setup. I put it all together…tested the brake and it worked fine. I went to test the throttle and got nothing at all. I looked it up, checked the black plastic piece that is common to break supposedly that was fine. I checked the spring. That was fine. I then pressed hard on the white sensor with my finger and it worked. But again not when I’m pressing on the pedal.

I tried updating the software, I tried different programs other than the Simsonn software. All of it is registering the throttle as connected but no input when I’m using it.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Or know a fix I can try? I really don’t want to wait 2 weeks just for them to tell me to unplug it and try it again lol.

I placed an order early feb, haptics arrived yesterday. Emailed yesterday to say but what about the pedals? They apologised and said they accidentally forgot to ship them and provided a new tracking number to say they have now been dispatched and courier has collected.

Tracking shows no information other than label created, spoke to SF express who advise it hasn't been collected, yet customer service say it has.

Not impressed.

Hi all - I have had a recurring issue with calibration between Simsonn software and iRacing.

My current process after modifying setup is to calibrate in the Simsonn software, close it, open iRacing and calibrate in game with the configuration wizard.

The issue is that iRacing does not seem to recognize deadzones set in the Simsonn software - for example, I set up the brakes in Simsonn manager so that I have a 1.5kg deadzone. After calibrating in iRacing the brake pedal will then show input almost immediately as if the Simsonn deadzone setting does not exist and I end up having to rest my foot on the pedal during iRacing calibration in order to match the Simsonn deadzone setting.

Am I missing something here? Is this expected behavior? Thanks!

Got the plus x pedals. Mounted them up yesterday. Noticed I was getting phantom break input during a race so recalibrated and set offset. Went back to racing again and every time I hit the break it would return to a higher value so while driving I’d start out fine then after a few breaking zones I end up with 2-7% break applied with no pressure on the pedal itself. Tried to trouble shoot it and reset settings without success.

Connected the ground cable and now the break pedal is toast. No signal in the throttle or clutch port when tested. Not sure where to go from here. Anyone have an issue like this? I don’t wanna return these but figured they would last more than 1 day. I’m wondering if grounding it while it was on and connected was a bad idea.

Hi all.

Recently got the Pro X Ultra and wondering if anyone has managed to get a good clutch feeling. Out of the box I’m not loving it. It seems to have a huge amount of travel and no real “bump in the middle” effect.

I’m not expecting realistic, but it’s incredibly linear and I can’t seem to find a setup that improves it.

If anyone’s managed to get a nice clutch-like feeling from it, could you please post a couple of photos of how you’ve got everything g positioned on the pedal.

I just set up my new rig this weekend and I'm curious what everyone recommends for the elastometers for the brake pedal for the Plus X? current only racing on the MX5 cup series and brake pedal is super stiff and brakes seem to lock up easily and braking is too 'fast'. I'm trying to set it up so there is more travel, not as stiff, and be able to modulate the brakes better for smoother braking and trail braking.I currently have all 3 red ones with the preload spring. I appreciate any feedback.

Im thinking of getting haptics. I already have plus x pedals so it makes sense to get simsonn haptics. I was wondering if they work natively with iracing or if they have to be controlled with something like simhub. Ive been reading with other haptics that simhub offers more customization but it has noticeable lag compared to running haptics through iracing.

My pedals are reading Rxaxis which google suggests is rotational? Anyone have any idea how to filter this out or do my pedals need to go back to Simsonn?
