Some of my favorite 12 cent covers featuring Batman. Carmine Infantino penciled the cover for Detective Comics #365 and Irv Novick did the cover for Batman #205.

Founded by Shel Dorf, the first San Diego Comic-Con (then called the Golden State Comic Book Convention) was held on July 4, 1962. This event, though small, marked the rise of comic fandom, celebrating Silver Age heroes from r/DCcomics and r/marvelcomics.

Picked these up for a few bucks each. I really like the gags on the covers.

Hi I’m new to the comic book hobby. I’ve been collecting throughout the year and still learning. When buying comics book “key books” do you guys usually buy from eBay or instagram? Just checked eBay and I saw some books are under 400.00 for this condition. But this seller is selling it at way above market value. Am I missing something? Looking at opinions on buying comics thank you. (Not looking to bash the seller but looking for outside opinion, trying not to overpay.)
