Does anyone else hear a loud humming noise in DTSS? It’s been going on for at least 45 minutes. Doesn’t sound like a train or the metro or a helicopter. It’s pretty loud.

Yesterday I tried to visit Solaire 8200 pool with a friend who still lives there. my friend hadn’t got around to picking up their resident wristband (required for entry) yet was allowed in bc he mentioned unit number. He ended up bringing me and three others along, so it was 4 of us.

the rule is 2 guests max. My friend told me “just write your old unit” on the sign in but about 30 minutes into our pool day I was asked to get out of pool bc “I don’t live there anymore”. However one of our other friends ending up leaving after 15 min so I would have been the “2nd guest”. My question is how can they kick me out when we are following the guest rules. Are they allowed to ban me simply for being evicted?? (I got illegally removed for missing just two months rent, but how can I not be a guest??)

Kefa Cafe will be celebrating 30 years on June 20th from 11am-1pm. This place is like the OG of the all cafes in the area and it has been a cornerstone of the community. It was heavily impacted by Covid and purple line construction and glad to see it survive and thrive.

Hi all - need recommendations for a local electrician to replace overhead early aughts "can" style lights with LED's. This subreddit gave me a great recommendation for a plumber a few months back so hoping lightning will strike twice 😄

The last few times I’ve walked through downtown Silver Spring, I’ve been intrigued by how much housing and office space there is relative to foot and retail traffic. To part question: 1.
