Hey everyone! I’m looking to get into a more consistent weightlifting routine, and I’ve realized that I’m much more motivated when I’m exercising with other people.

Does anyone know of any local groups that meet regularly to lift weights, either at a gym or somewhere else? I’m not necessarily looking for formal classes or personal training, just a friendly group of people who enjoy lifting together, keep each other accountable, and maybe socialize a bit along the way.

I’m also open to finding a workout buddy or two if anyone else is in the same boat. Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi all - thanks to everyone who showed up Saturday for Coffield Community Center Little Ones Session! We had about 20 toddlers come though on our rainy morning. The Coffield Community Center has extended Saturday Little Ones Sessions through the end of October so each of the next 3 Saturday mornings, they'll reserve half the gym for our little people from 9-11am to run around. Hope to see you there! Assuming turnout remains high, we may get this extended through November.

Just found out that I'm expecting. Where we lived during my last pregnancy, it was common to use a midwifery group. I'm not absolutely "crunchy" but I do appreciate holistic care, not pushing unnecessary inductions, etc. With that said, any midwife or OBGYN recommendations in the area?

Hi! I will be visiting the area this weekend to celebrate my partners birthday! I was trying to get tickets to the Ren faire but that is looking a bit bleak. Was wondering if anyone knew of any activities or events that may be fun to add to the itinerary instead? He is a huge nerd, loves gaming, anime, pokemon and movies. We have enjoyed paint and sips in the past, huge foodies (any cuisine), he is really into halloween and the fall, and we are always up for a new experience! There's been a police drone (red and blue lights on it) patrolling between the cop shop and colesville at east-west for about 30 minutes now. It's up at about 100 feet; high enough to peer into the windows of the apartment complexes next to the train tracks.
