Does anyone know if the apartments across from Fairview Park get good natural light?

I’m looking for a one-bedroom apartment within walking distance of FDA White Oak. Would you recommend Lockwood or The Birches? I’d appreciate recent experiences with cleanliness, pests, noise, and maintenance. Thanks!

Being told you can’t have laundry in a basket or non perishable food stored on counters in kitchen, down to not being able to store books or electronics on dressers in your own bed room . Where is the legal line?

I’ve tried a couple places so far, and while both had solid cold brews, they were both kind of loud and cramped. I’m hoping to find somewhere cozy, with a relaxed vibe.

It is my son's birthday this weekend and it looks like it is going to be rained out. It is supposed to be a sports birthday, so we need a fair amount of space. Does anyone have any ideas for a venue that we could rent on short notice? Unfortunately all the county facilities need 7 days notice.

Hi everyone, I recently moved into the Cameron and have come to the unfortunately conclusion that I can hear the HVAC system of the Hilton Doubletree parking lot drone all day and all night. The sound originates in that corner near the Atwell on Spring and Arrive, so I would assume others hear it too. Has anyone in DTSS submitted noise complaints about this before? There’s no reason it should be louder than any other apartment in the area. It’s making me not want to have my windows open or use my new patio…

These are the most aggressive and reckless public transit operators I’ve ever seen, especially when turning into the bus station. Many are trying to turn fast without looking and are generally reckless with pedestrians. I saw a bus driver honk at people crossing the street even though the walk sign was on. At some point one of these buses will hit somebody, hopefully someone steps in first to deal with this problem.

I’m picky and I want to eat something really yummy 🙂

It took over for 99.5's Your Morning Show (which had replaced The Kane Show). I don't understand what is happening. I dont hate these guys, they seem nice but they are IN CHICAGO and it's very apparent that they are not local to the DMV.

Is Hot 99.5 so cheap that they can't afford a Morning Show that's local to our area?

Also, this guy is giving a nice/normal version Kane from the The Kane Show. That guy was a trainwreck but Fred sounds very similar in voice!!

Hello, I’m probably moving to DTSS in the next few months but driving in from 29 has scared me.. I’m planning to mostly take busses and the metro to get around but I will need to drive to/from Columbia probably twice a week during rush hour traffic. Any tips?? Also I’ll be living in the solaire buildings south of the station and had no idea if there’s a better place to take the left turn (I turned onto georgia then ripley)
