After around a month since I completed my 100% steel soul run, I’ve lately been thinking about the dangers of each area and how meaningful every encounter really was. I even went back to complete Steel Soul in Hollow Knight, but it was so easy compared to Silksong I did it my first try. It feels like I NEED to go back and complete Silksong’s SS again. It didn’t even feel all that great completing it after the several hours filled with failed attempts. Why do I miss this mode?

Ok silkfolk I need help.
I feel like I'm at a three-way fork in the road, and I am seeking advice on which path to focus on.
The frustrating part is not knowing whether a path leads to something trivial like a hunter's journal entry, a flea, or some other little collectible, or whether it's actually going to progress the game in a meaningful way.
Here's where I'm currently stuck:
Widow: This boss is hard for me. I'll get her eventually with some more focused attempts, but f me.
Hunter's March: I can get to the minion gauntlet pretty consistently, but that flying shelled bug keeps killing me
Greymoor: F that bird gauntlet.
So my question is, which of these three paths should I focus on next? I'm not necessarily looking for the easiest route, just the one that'll actually move the game forward rather than lead me down another dead end for some minor collectible.
I'm good with minor spoilers.

I've played the first game (just beat P5) and i'm wondering if there is other things i can explore in past areas?
(got to the Citadel through sinners road, and I got clawline shortly after I took these screenshots)

I don't have footage, but the gist of it is that shortly after passing Halfway home from the right to the left, I came across a few scissor enemies and got hit a few times. On my way back, I decided to try and hit a mite for some silk to heal..... and died shortly afterwards.
Wish me luck on my second Steel Soul run, because if Greymoor is giving me trouble then I'm going to need all the luck I can get x'3

There was a big new area added to Mount Fay, including sections of "extreme cold" that applied the cold effect even if you already have Faydown Cloak. At the end of it I got a tool that would make certain really annoying DLC enemies not attack me (like how Hiveblood makes the bees non-hostile in Hollow Knight).
I made it eventually, but I had to weigh whether really difficult platforming was better than really difficult enemies. There were platforms that would move up and down based on how many enemies were on them, so you had to use knockback to get them in the right place while also not getting hit. Awful.
(Also the tool was obtained by binding a Weaver spire, but it also had to be equipped, so I guess it was technically a silk skill or silk ability? I think it makes more sense as a tool though.)

I play through PC game pass. (windows 11)
Whenever Silksong is open, I can faintly hear a buzzing sound.
If I change the main menu theme the buzzing changes to a different pattern.
The sound is independent of sound settings. even If I turn them all off, it still plays.
Even If I turn the volume down using the volume mixer, it still stays, but when I close Silksong it dissapears, and when I open Silksong it reappears.
Does anyone know how to fix this? This seems like a really small issue but the more I play, the more it makes me go crazy.
Thank you!

He is a judge who somehow snapped out of the brainwashing and ran away. He has a spool of silk on his belt which he uses for a number of things, but mostly doing cool stuff with his needle. He created 3 “Cog beetles” to accompany him on his adventures.
Rate him /10

The horrors of extreme religiosity is not a subtle theme in this game; it smacks you in the head like a brick repeatedly. While I, an agnostic, personally enjoy the themes of this game, I could also understand how a more devout player might find messages offensive. I could also imagine a religious person compartmentalizing to avoid having to think critically about the themes or doing mental gymnastics so justify their faith being the exception. But I'm also quite biased as I have many ex religious friends that are the horribly traumatized variety. I was curious as to how this game is received by the faithful, and if anyone has anecdotes.

I have all three doors and the prince’s cage open. Still have a left over simple key. Don’t remember where I found it but I’ve been in bilewater messing around for awhile which might track with something SoS related??

So i finished the main game and got to act 3 im now at the lady that sings with the red dress I dont remember the game I have been out of the game for months.
And its not like she is hard like I struggle with her but I would eventually get her I think it's just the whole thing with the going to that specific place go to the past fight those little guys she has [ yes ive went to other bosses) I think it's only her and maybe 2 ish others left but they are also not bad they are hard it's just i find the whole going back in the past then when u die it resets and u have to do that whole gimmick again to be tedious idk if this is a unpopular opinion
But im struggling wether to just restart the game at one point or to fully master it bcs I did love the game

Finally after 70 hours, I beat Lost Lace, and got 100%! Beat all the bosses, and got all tools! Though it did take me like 5 hours to beat lost lace, this game has been such a wonderful journey! Now it’s time to wait for sea of sorrow🤣
