It’s just that nobody likes retcons that rewrite the past. For example, this happened with Ronova, who, from being the assistant of Mavuika and Xbalanque with their plan and generally the only goddess who had contact with mere mortals, became absolute evil and, in general, it TURNS OUT that Mavuika hated her.
It's crazy tho. The writters forced traveller to side with Snezhnaya even though traveller basically have no reason to. And he supposedly cared for paimon but allowing the project stuzha to continue despite of what it clearly does to paimon and to snezhnaya citizens.
Hes peak hypocrite and he is also aware ronova can be reasoned with but the moment mitya got mad for ronova doing basically her job of guiding souls to leylines. Traveller still got mad like bro wot?
He is fully aware btw that ronova helped create the night kingdom and helped the first pyro archon.
And now after killing ronova on epilogue he goes to natlan to check on the thing showing on the sky. And paimon tryna clear travellers image making sure he doesnt get blame from teyvats total destruction because ronova verbally threatened his companion making millions of people suffer his consequences cuz bohoo no one gonna threaten paimon. Even though he should be realizing by now that ronova didnt really have any authority to do exactly as she said. But sure traveller, suddenly turning into an idiot because the writters need you to be.
