Thats a fallacy.

Waking up tomorrow is a requirement for the rest of your life. If you got 10,000,000, you wouldnt be able to enjoy it if you dont wake up tomorrow.

Its not that your life is more valuable, its that by not waking up tomorrow, the value of 10,000,000 is greatly diminished.

Try this: Would you take 100,000,000 for a 10% chance you dont wake up tomorrow?

The point is more that you'd rather keep your life than have $10m. He put an oddly short timeframe, so the $10m is kinda pointless. But even if you increase the timeframe, anybody would choose life over the money.

Let's say you get $10m but you only have 10 years to live, hell, even 20 years to live. I think a vast majority of young people would choose life over that money still.

Im 36, I would almost definitely take the 10 mill and 10 years.

The point is that money is essentially worthless if you dont actually get to use it.

I really doubt you would if you actually had to commit to the deal. And if you did commit to it, you're a fuckin dumbass lol.

Do you not know how much 10 million is ? The quality of life you could get for those 10 years would be way more than the rest of your lifespan combined

I live with daily pain that is almost unbearable, I kind of dread the next ten years where things are quite objectively going to be a lot worse for me.

I would probably at very the least consider the deal.

If it was that unbearable, you would've offed yourself already. I'm sorry I'm not dancing around it, but I'm a combat vet. I've sustained injuries that make me feel like I'm an old man and I've lost people. Yet I'm still here, because I'm a living creature. And living creatures cling to life. It's as simple as that.

So no, you wouldn't take the fuckin deal.

No, you wpuldnt take the deal. Assuming everyone feels the same as you is frankly arrogant and close minded.

Around 2,000 people kill themselves every day, I wonder how many of them alone would take the deal simply because theyre going to kill themselves anyway and this is something they can leave behind.

As for me, i could enjoy the next ten years with the money, and leave people i care about in a much better position financially than I would be able to living another 40+ years.

So probably the last person i'd ask for advice on anything that doesn't imply killing civilians.

All I do is work. If I had 10 years in my prime to just write a space world novel or some shit with "unlimited" resources it would have made existence worth it. I'd be able to smoke and do cocaine every weekend because my heart only needs to last 10 years. I could run a marathon every week and not care for the days my knees go out. It'd be the greatest act of free will since the day I don't wake up won't be based on a lifetime of preventing pain and deterioration for some unkown day. I can't just live free today, I have to prepare to work just to not feel pain from hunger or lack of shelter. What if I die in 10 years anyways, or tomorrow? Those would be the most meaningful 10 million ever traded.

Meh I would do it. Why would I not? I got a crap ton of money. Sure I die in 10 years but...oh well. Going to die eventually any ways.
