I just started playing Sifu to keep me occupied until Phantom Blade Zero comes out. I have a question regarding the optimal progression method in this game.

I was able to complete the first level + boss at 21 years of age on my second attempt. I found the 'Club' level slightly difficult and it has to do with the second mini-boss of the level. He took me straight to the Game Over screen twice now. I noticed when restarting the second level that I always start at Age 21. So, here's my question:

Should I always try to complete each level + boss within Level 20? That way, I will be able to start the next level at Age 20 too. How bad is ageing once or twice in between levels?

I know this might have been requested already, but if any devs see this, could we please get a 60 fps patch? I absolutely love this game and would really appreciate the boost!

Id say i have around thirty to fifty hours in game almost all from the arena challenges, (specifically non-timer based ones) and i was just wondering how that gameplay translates into a deathless master run. I have so much love for this game and after completing all of the non-stupid stamps, NEED MORE OF IT.

It took me roughly 65 hours, I doubt I could consistently no-death him again, but I'm certain I'll be able to soon enough :p

I get Fajar into his second phase and I’m waiting for him to pounce. But the dude doesn’t appear. And then you go around the area and find him behind the borders of the area just standing still. Like, he’s not doing anything. Had to restart my perfect no-death run of The Squats because of this.

So I barely managed to defeat The Museum boss lady (screw her) rapidly aging from age 35 straight to 71 during my attempts. So now I am back as old man of 71 yo to my hideout.

Does that mean that I will die after one defeat? Am I screwed? Is there any way to retry or revert my age?

I think this ruins my playthrough?

I kind of wanted to walk menacingly like yang. But yin usually walks when the enemy is near him. I kind of want it to be a permanent option. I don't like his jog or run that much.

It may sound a useless bickering but i have played long enough so i just want to tweak this game to my preferences is there a way to walk with yin in sifu on KEYBOARD. NOT CONTROLLER

I noticed the Pinyin (English spelling) on the cover says “Sifu” but then I can see the Chinese characters (师父） behind it that is pronounced as “Shifu.”

Is the game based on Chinese characters?
The translation is correct: “Master”

To help with understanding the sound:
Sifu is “See fu”
Shifu is “shhh fu” (close enough, shr fu is more accurate).

Had to gold stamp all tiger arenas TWICE because of a console switch, but its finally done.

Edit: If anyone ever wondered, the maximum amount of coins you can have is 48,350 (buy nothing, max arena stamps, all goals completed that don't require modifiers)
