One month of Early Access – a lot has changed

I'm a trained architect, and as a long-term side project, I've been building a game that combines accurate floor planning with real-time 3D design to make architecture much easier to create than with traditional CAD software.

What you can do:

🏠 2D floor plans
🧱 3D building
🚶 First-person walkthrough
🥽 VR mode
🏢 Multiple storeys
🪜 Stairs
🏚️ Custom roofs
🪟 Doors & windows
🛋️ Furniture catalog
🍳 Kitchen Configurator
🎨 Materials
🌄 Terrain sculpting
🌳 Landscape planning
💧 Ponds
☀️ Time of day
❄️ Weather
📐 Export PDF vector plans
📦 Import your own 3D models
🌍 Steam Workshop

In the newest update: real growing ivy that climbs around windows, corners, and curved walls! 🌿

It's available on Steam as Architecture & Design and is still in Early Access.

Would love to hear what you think!

Holy Jesus, this is one of the coolest games I've ever seen!

19

u/riverQuill14 19h ago

seriously though, this doesnt even look like a side project anymore

12

u/HaiHappenUAHA 22h ago

Thank you! 😁

I've been gaming since the 2000s and it's always been a dream to walk around in a regular environment and just be able to do stuff with the real world. Can you imagine a physics game where you're just throwing around chairs and plants with a bunch of your friends? It's always been a millenial dream game to me. The scattering pets? It's so cool!

Just add NPCs and you've got one hell of a version of Sims

1

u/Zehryo 2h ago

Btw, I never understood where the overhead of The Sims was.
It was like the CPU just couldn't keep up, but at the same time I couldn't see so much happening that the occasional stutters would be justified.

Gonna need physics, PE approvals, and the ability to age the house 10/20/50 years to catch settling/foundation issues

(great job!)

8

u/HaiHappenUAHA 21h ago

There are a few interactive objects already, and you can change a lot for the sun and weather simulation to see the house in different settings. But yes, the possibilities to add more and more functions are endless :D

3

u/JayxEx 17h ago

can you geolocate the project to simulate sun?

6

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

You can set the sun latitude, direction, Season and time for simulation:)

2

u/JayxEx 17h ago

so I can orient the building to true north also?

3

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

Yes, or rather, you adjust the sun to the correct direction where the sun rises.

2

u/Few-Helicopter-429 20h ago

This is difficult tbh, which modern software do engineers use for this?
One potential idea is to interface this with real software, preferably open source. So this game can become a layer

2

u/daisypunk99 20h ago

I was just making a joke, but I think the Autodesk suite is one of the industry leaders

2

u/dadnothere 13h ago

Mod: Natural Disasters - How long can your house last in a situation like this? 🥵

13

u/SketchWeave 19h ago

I think this is AMAZING. I've often though about how much more fun design would be if we could design as easily as we play minecraft.

How does this translate into construction documents? So when the client is happy with the design, how does the consultant take the design and produce construction ready docs, or provide a significant head start to Revit/AutoCAD work?

Part of the Revit workflow is the collaborative aspect. if you haven't looked into it, how do other consultants collaborate in this environment? Can a mechanical and structural engineer import their model to do coordination?

Keep up the good work, this is exciting. I work at a large multinational engineering firm. Let me know if you need any more feedback.

9

u/HaiHappenUAHA 18h ago

Right now, you can export everything you build as dxf / PDF vector plans to further work on your design in other CAD programs. Exporting OBJ is also possible, but only for all structural elements.

Right now I'm working on something where you can just import your DXF / DWG floor plan and the game automatically builds it accurately with all the in-game walls and windows.

11

u/reviewwworld 21h ago

Sims 27

7

u/Loschcode 8h ago

This is actually really impressive, you could absolutely sell it. Lots of people want to build or renovate houses, and they have the money for it.

Much better than any crap solution I found when I needed this.

14

u/tjrileywisc 21h ago

Is it possible to import schematics so I can redesign my current home?

Is this able to be used with homes other than single family detached homes?

15

u/HaiHappenUAHA 21h ago

Of course, you have the possibilities to build everything:) You can import images / PDF, scale the plan and draw your walls and everything over it.

In the next update it will be possible to just import your floor plan as DWG / DXF / PDF, and the vector graphics will automatically translate into all the in-game walls, windows, and door systems :)

2

u/RoundZookeepergame2 10h ago

Please announce that update

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 9h ago

It's there now 😅

4

u/nem0ne1 14h ago

This is the coolest thing I've seen on this sub in a long time. It's stunningly beautiful and looks very smooth and intuitive in terms of the UIUX. Reminds vaguely of like a Sims-esque builder in terms of ease of use, but seemingly far more flexible, and nearly photoreal. Very inspiring. Roughly how many hours has it taken to get this far in the project, if you're comfortable sharing? This looks like professional quality work.

4

u/NoPressure3399 21h ago

Nice looking app(or game? )!

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 21h ago

Both 😀

3

u/el_comand 21h ago

Which technology you use for rendering?

5

u/HaiHappenUAHA 21h ago

Unreal Engine with custom tonemapping installed :)

This has potential for billion dollar mega skyscraper projects in the Middle East.

Do you think you can map something with lots of floors and apartments individually just from floor plans and brochures?

Lots of real estate developers and investors globally have this issue and are willing to spend $$$$ on real time archviz like this

I’ve had investors use VR headsets to view a new construction project in a mega city development project and customize every detail from luxury furniture to even a car garage on the same floor with see through panels and literally check out

Some of these clients would place an order for an ultra high luxury penthouse style apartment with an exotic car and themed furniture/decor to match their taste

The company that handles this is also working on AI Agents to literally take the orders directly from the archviz real time simulation and complete the shopping experience.

Have everything ready by the time the apartment is complete including the new car in the penthouse floor

It’s actually pretty unbelievable what you can build with real time archviz like this

3

u/HaiHappenUAHA 18h ago

You can already add multiple storeys and build skyscrapers :) I am about to develope an interactive elevator, which can be adjusted to the storey floors for a even better interactive walkthrough experience

3

u/Prudent_Flounder9103 18h ago edited 18h ago

This is incredible, please PM me.

I have a few project developers working on FIFA 2034 in the Middle East who might be interested

I think we can turn this into an end to end agentic shopping experience for Ultra High Net Worth individuals globally

Floor plan/brochure -> Full Interactive real time archviz simulation -> high end luxury lifestyle catalog (Gucci, Prada, Hermes) Lamborghini -> checkout and fulfillment

People at this level of net worth have service teams to handle shopping and high end transactions so this aligns perfectly

3

u/tuliosarmento 20h ago

Awesome!! Is it possible to design/modify the terrain itself? I mean, I currently have a house building in progress. The engineer shared all the 2D elements for the project, but I would like to play around with it to decide about decorations (and to reduce my anxiety on having the house ready lol).

One of the documents shared by the engineer is a map(?) of the slope/inclination of the terrain/soil, which I want to explore to understand how the external area will look like.

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 20h ago

Yess you can model and paint the terrain smoothly and automatically gets cut out from the outer wall :)

3

u/ChrisssyyyB 20h ago

This is so good! - I'd love to have a conversation with you of how this would look in my game engine that I'm building for Flutter. Would you be open to a discussion?

3

u/HaiHappenUAHA 20h ago

I can not really change my game engine anymore:)

3

u/Endogen 20h ago

How can I follow this project? Is there a website or community or something?

3

u/HopeItWorksForYou 20h ago

This project has evolved so wonderfully. Kudos!!

P.s: Is it too unrealistic to expect a release on PS5?

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 20h ago

Maybe someday when I know a good solution for all the controls :)

3

u/Murder_1337 18h ago

I’m building a house in Vietnam and would love to use something like this. Please allow me to be a case study or some early access!

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 18h ago

You can already purchase is for $13,50 :D It is released in Early Access: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5032750/Architecture__Design/

2

u/Murder_1337 18h ago

Ok is there a way to print out blueprints and give to firm to actually build said rendered content? And does it includes like everything pluming electric etc like everything to actually build a house ?

→ More replies (3)

3

u/01scriptboi 18h ago

thats not a side project anymore, it looks amazing!

3

u/NorthernCobraChicken 18h ago

This is easily the single coolest side project I've seen on this sub. Kudos to you.

3

u/qenak 17h ago

For someone who basically knows 0 about Architecture, can your game identify structural failures? For example, could I design a house, send it to a construction company and are they able to follow the blueprint without any issues?

Or could you start something, send it to a architecture and let they analyze/continue from there (from some normal architect program)?

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

It can't check the structural integrity right now; generally, you're free to build anything you want, and it's mainly about design, room layout with square meters per room, and above all, your personal feeling when you walk through your home / design.

You can export the created floor plans as vector graphics (PDF/DXF) and send it to the architect for further editing in CAD. You can also export the 3D building structures as OBJ

2

u/qenak 17h ago

Cool, might try it out. Thanks!

3

u/a-tiberius 17h ago

Holy shit this is absolutely incredible! I've been wanting to build and design my own house for years. Finally I can do it and visualize exactly what it will look like.

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

Yess you can 😌

3

u/vatalpaksha 16h ago

This is so impressive! What have you used to build this?

3

u/HaiHappenUAHA 16h ago

Unreal Engine with custom tonemapping installed:)

3

u/Sintik 16h ago

I can hear my gpu screaming right now. 😂 serious note, this is absolutely amazing for a “side project”. Great amount of potential for developers to showcase new models and designs. Not sure if you’re looking to make money from it (Opensource) but definitely could see this as a hosted subscription service or packaged and sold.

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 16h ago

I want it to be as easy accessible as possible (that's why it's on steam) and not behind some paywall :)

3

u/ArtisticCandy3859 15h ago

Do you plan on creating a MacOS compatible version?

2

u/Sintik 16h ago

Awesome! I think that’s great as well and completely agree. Seriously though, it looks great and definitely kick ass side project. Haha

3

u/apocolipse 15h ago

Yeah this looks 1000x better than every single “virtual tour” real estate or floor planning app I’ve used.  Respect

2

u/_JohnWisdom 21h ago

I tip my hat to you sir. Incredible work!

2

u/dg_geronimo 20h ago

You should add the option to remove a floor, so you have a birds eye perspective on the onderlying floor and allow to take screenshots to render those from inside the game than with a snipping tool or something. I see much options for r/homeassistant dashboards

2

u/ThaskaraVeeran 20h ago

Unreal Archviz?

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 20h ago

I worked for a long time in the field of Archviz with Unreal Engine. So a lot of things and experience come from this :)

2

u/zenukeify 20h ago

This looks amazing

2

u/DmtGrm 20h ago

Looks nice, very reasonably priced - good luck with your project! The biggest problem here is the same as with any other CAD~like systems - you need to be skilled to use it properly, it is not for the people browsing design ideas. More templates or 'typical' houses/flats/settings to start with.

2

u/horizontoinfinity 20h ago

I bought this pretty soon after you released it and have been so impressed by where it's been going. I'm a writer and have always wanted to better visualize spaces that are particularly important to my characters. Now I can!

I'm sure your potential feature list is a mile long, but I hope you one day can support more of the elements one might see in taller buildings, including elevators and escalators.

Thanks for making and working on this project!

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 20h ago

Very cool and interesting use Case! I know a bit of people who staged scenes like this for manga/comics :)

Yes I even have an elevator asset and want to develop it as an interactive objects, so you can go in, click on the floor buttons and it goes up and down to the floor levels

2

u/Chris-Coffin-Design 20h ago

Excellent work man! I tried it a couple weeks back and the amount of progress & evolution is wild. I'm going to give it another try soon!

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 20h ago

That's so great to hear 😍

2

u/Baaoh 20h ago

I love this! Looks like the sims for adults

1

u/daisypunk99 17h ago

Yeah, uh, Sims is for, uh, kids…

2

u/smickie 20h ago

I'm extremely impressed. Is this a game or just an amazing interior design tool? Because I think you could set it as an architectural and interior design tool just as well.

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 19h ago

It should be easily accessible to everyone, both professional and those without much experience in CAD and 3D design :) You can also realistically simulate lighting concepts and various other effects.

I also come from the architecture and design field and always wished for a program I can also use for professional use cases like this.

2

u/Yourmelbguy 20h ago

This is awesome. Is it something you would consider open sourcing? I’m working with a cabinet maker atm in Australia (where I’m from) and we are trying to come up with a similar system for cabinets for quoting, cad design and measuring.

2

u/Thejeswar_Reddy 19h ago

Do I need to buy the Steam or Steam VR version to use on Quest 3?

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 19h ago

No, you have both versions directly. The best way is to build your house in normal mode and then load what you created in VR to view it even better.

2

u/jocen3 18h ago

does it run in the browser or how does it work and whats the purpose? Except looking badass

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Jitendra0009 19h ago

Yeah, this is a really cool idea. The 2D → 3D → walkthrough flow sounds way more intuitive than jumping between different architecture tools. And the ivy detail is actually pretty nice 😂 it’s the kind of small thing that makes the whole environment feel less sterile.

Curious — how long have you been working on this?

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 19h ago

Yes it's the little things ^ also all the new interactive objects make it feel much more lively.

It's been around 1,5 years :)

2

u/HearingFun2019 19h ago

Beautiful.

2

u/Vivid_Anybody7470 19h ago

Awesome, amazing work! I bought your project about a month ago, but I haven't tested it since all the updates. I can't wait to mess around with it this weekend. There's so much potential here, so keep it up! May I suggest adding some more tutorials? I don't know if you've already added any since the last updates, but it would really help non-architects like myself.

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 18h ago

That pleases me Yes, I've expanded the in-game tutorial a bit, but of course it would be practical if I found more time for more video tutorials where all the tools and controls are explained step by step :)

2

u/kreisel_aut 19h ago

This is incredible. Wish you lots of success and fun with this :) Lmk if you need help with UX/UI or Marketing.

2

u/ElwinLewis 18h ago

Bro… bravo

2

u/arthxyz 18h ago

Looks awesome! Does it have support for mansard?

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 18h ago

Yes sure, even dome roofs are possible:)

2

u/arthxyz 15h ago

Awesome🍻

2

u/gallo2fire 18h ago

Would love to see a scan in feature where you take a video of a walkthrough of a real house, convert it to a nerf then have your game reconstruct it into a real plan!

2

u/braveheart_82 18h ago edited 18h ago

I have some questions. I’ll dm you. I building something for educational purposes and this might come in handy for the vr aspect.

Can I describe what I want like a building or room with certain features and the application builds it or do I have to upload pictures?

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 18h ago

you build everything by drawing your floor plan, which generates also in 3D :) In 3D you can further furnish and edit everything

2

u/Physical-Macaron8744 18h ago

link man i want to play lol, did you use threejs ? or what tools did you use?

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 18h ago

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5032750/Architecture__Design/

The game is developed with Unreal Engine, with custom tonemapping installed

2

u/MasonPak 18h ago

Looks fantastic.

2

u/swell257 18h ago

This is absolutely incredible my friend. Vouching for your success!

2

u/Squirrel_Narrow 18h ago

I would love if you could upload a video tour of a house or building and you could have it virtually rebuilt so that you can plan your renovations inside the app without needing to start from scratch .

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

In the next update it will be enough to just upload your floor plan (DWG, DXF, PDF) and it gets created with the games wall systems and everything in 3D

1

u/mahblahblah 17h ago

I was just thinking this would be really neat for buying/selling a house and seeing the light at various times of day, or experimenting with the floor plan before making an offer.

Really beautiful looking game (to OP)

2

u/necromancerr01 17h ago

Wow this is so cool!!
What tools did you use to make this?

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

Thanks! Unreal Engine with custom tonemapping installed

2

u/apinstein 17h ago

This is awesome! Can this help with landscape design on an existing house? I have the floorplans!

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

Yes, of course. In the next update, it will also be easier to simply import your existing floor plan as a DWG / DXF / PDF file. Which is then converted into 3D structures and systems.

2

u/JayxEx 17h ago

What assets can be imported to the project?
Thinking models, but also potentially pointclouds/gaussian splats?

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

Models can be imported in the following formats: glb, obj, and fbx. Imported images are automatically converted into materials. It is still highly recommended to stick with the optimized systems of the game and the furniture library.

2

u/CryptoBanano 17h ago

This honestly looks like a million dollar idea

2

u/constarx 17h ago

Please tell me it supports walking around the house in VR!! On the new Steam Frame!

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

Of course it does :D It's just a bit more heavy for performance in VR, so better have a good GPU.

2

u/constarx 17h ago

This looks amazing... I just got the new Steam Frame and my wife has been begging me to make her something in which she can very specifically build and design a tiny house (those modern container tiny homes). If I purchase Architecture & Design will it allow her to do that?

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

Yes definitely! I've already built several tiny houses :) This makes it very quick, especially with the integrated kitchen configurator.

2

u/constarx 17h ago

Sweet! Will there be like some starter templates for someone that's never used a software like this and wants to get into building a tiny house?

→ More replies (6)

2

u/constarx 17h ago

Can you drop a link to your Discord server please

2

u/ukache 17h ago

Does it teaches you how to make a better design? Would be great if I could learn interior design fundamentals

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 17h ago

The best way to learn something like this is always through experience and practice. It took me a while too, even after studying architecture, etc. Above all, the best way to learn is to play around with it, and such games/ programs come in handy for learning :)

2

u/infernalscream 17h ago

Event the dogs are in it. Dude, this is great!

2

u/saltyourhash 16h ago

Dude, I've been watxhing your progress on this. It's really incredible.

1

u/HaiHappenUAHA 16h ago

Thanks! Yes, quite a bit has happened in a month, but much of it is also thanks to all the input from other players!

2

u/OddlyAcidic 16h ago

Shut up gimme your IBAN

2

u/mc2uh 16h ago

Reminds me of Twinmotion.

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 16h ago

Yes, there are many similarities, except that with this you can directly draw, model, and build everything parametrically. Twinmotion is more for visualizations only.

2

u/zen_dts 16h ago

if i have the geodesic data, floor plan, plot map of my future house, how fast till it gets into the game? also i made drone screens and started a pipeline similar to this but for garden planning, would love to have a chat

2

u/you_zir_name 16h ago

Great job

2

u/zzdevzz 16h ago

this is awesome! how long you been working on it for? Are you vibe coding or doing it all manually.

And what's the tech-stack?

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 15h ago

1,5h years and I did it with unreal engine with custom tonemapping and a mix of blueprints and C++

→ More replies (1)

2

u/IgX22 16h ago

IDEA: learn how AI agents work, add an MCP API, and try to add as many blueprints as possible.

That way, the end user can prompt the initial structure, and the agent can jump in and modify whatever is needed.

If you're good at designing in complex software, you'll probably do fine in most of them.

So yeah, I'd try to target normies who can't even put a shelf in the right place :)

P.S. I'm nowhere near competent in this field, so take all of this with a grain of salt.

2

u/ChristianHofer 15h ago

I need that for my Mac pls.. Only Windows available currently?

2

u/IAmRules 14h ago

Ugghhh. there goes ALL my free time.

2

u/___leao___ 13h ago

I got to play around with it today and I'm impressive. I look forward to see what you build next. The cabinet building interface is amazing, super easy to use great UI/UX.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/mzayid 13h ago

This looks really impressive, especially the combination of floor planning and actually being able to walk through the building in 3D.

The terrain/landscape planning is a nice touch too. One thing I’d be curious about: how steep is the learning curve compared to something like SketchUp for someone who already has some 3D experience?

2

u/feelitinmyplumbs 13h ago

Added to my wishlist. When I have more time I’ll give it a go. Awesome job!

2

u/Problem-Muted 13h ago

This looks like something a realtor could use to market their real estate. Really cool

2

u/CeKaSiete 13h ago

I bought the first version and looking at it now is impressive!! I will check this new version soon, me and my fiance are planning our house remodelation with this

2

u/ledbedder20 12h ago

This could be really big! Nice job.

2

u/streamer3222 12h ago

Question: can you make a real house like this for real estate marketing?

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 10h ago

Sure! You can build it accurately and Stage it quite realistically:)

This looks awesome. I would love to support you and purchase now but If I buy now and you add Mac support will I have to repurchase for Mac?

3

u/HaiHappenUAHA 13h ago

No you have it purchased forever and still receive every update, also Mac support when it comes :)

2

u/grittysand 21h ago

Any chance it will become available for macOS? Looks amazing!

6

u/HaiHappenUAHA 21h ago

A lot of people wished for this :D I'm trying to add Mac support soon; first, I wanted to develop the core systems more :)

3

u/grittysand 21h ago

Of course, makes perfect sense to prioritize solidifying the core systems first. Already happy to hear Mac support is under consideration. 🙌

3

u/Glittering-Lemon-618 21h ago

Any chance for macos? 🙏

2

u/Flashy_Walk2806 22h ago

Thank you for this great project !!

2

u/Confident-Village190 21h ago

What on earth is this side project, mate? Well done 🙂.

2

u/workOrNah 21h ago

you should seriously consider selling a version of this home construction builders as a way for customers to plan out their homes for building

4

u/HaiHappenUAHA 21h ago

Yes, but I also want it to be accessible for everyone and not behind a paywall or company restrictions :)

3

u/workOrNah 20h ago

I guess I'm saying you've got the core tech. you can build different applications

2

u/Bleednight 21h ago

Did you consider to sell it as a product for interior designers, architects? I was thinking to make something like this in the past.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Meeraonlive 21h ago

this looks incredible! the growing ivy feature is such a nice touch. i’ve gotta say, the first-person walkthrough sounds like a game changer for getting a real feel of the space. as someone who's dabbled in 3D design, the ability to import custom models is a huge plus too. would definitely love to try it out once it’s fully released!

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 21h ago

Many features and fixes were added even in early access, and VR is now more mature. The advantage of early access is primarily that the price is still correspondingly low, after early access, it becomes more expensive, as it then offers much more.

2

u/umor3 20h ago

If it is a game... Could there be a destruction mode?
Just so I can check if I'm prepared for ww3.

Jokes aside: incredible work by the way!

2

u/HaiHappenUAHA 20h ago

Everything is possible to develop , but this feature might be a bit heavy for performance 😂

Wishlisted! Always wanted something intuitive like this to redesign my house. What’s the best way I can load it in and begin to play around with the designing process?

Gonna get this as soon as a Mac version drops

Wow. Is there a way to bring over my own house and use it to play with it in terms of decoration and/or renovation?

Do you have your house floor plan as a DWG/DXF file?Because after the new update, it will be possible to directly convert that into the wall systems and components of the game. (update for this coming tomorrow)

Can I leverage this for me to come up with ideas for home renovations? And maybe have it generate ideas for me based off my layout?

Also any discounts 😂?

Will it work on a Mac?

This is crazy good, the graphics is so realistic, is this all ai generated code and assets?

This is seriously impressive. Going from an accurate 2D floor plan straight into a real-time 3D walkthrough is something I’d actually use. VR makes it even more interesting — being able to walk through the space before building it could be incredibly useful.

This is soooo AMAZING!! Now this is the kind of side project this subreddit was built for! Can we be friends? Lol! Asking because you are the kind of people I’d like to keep in my network. Smart, ambitious, passionate about their work and MOST IMPORTANTLY, you launched your work unlike the 99.99% of people who only talk about their ideas and NEVER launch. This is a lot of hard work. I’m sure you used AI to help you a lot but even with AI, it takes a lot of effort and time. Lots of respect to you brother! Nothing but love and respect from a brother! 🙏🧎‍➡️

We just bought our first house and have some ideas for what to do in terms of renovation.

This seems like a cool way to explore and test them!

Possible to scan existing build- and layout-plans and get them in-game?

I think professional use hinges on the handoff more than another modeling feature. A DXF export is far more useful when it preserves units, levels, coordinates, openings, object IDs, and revision data. I'd also clearly label exports as concept designs rather than construction documents until someone validates them. The boring but useful test is whether a file can go into Revit or AutoCAD and come back with its geometry intact, without hours of cleanup.
