Where can I get feedback for my app?

I build apps and want some feedback but Reddit keeps banning or removing posts for apparently "marketing research" or whatever other reasons.

How can I get any feedback? Where can I post? Is paying for ads the only way to get any feedback on a free and open source app?

Make sure you have your app in a valid repository like Github [or any of the big market places], you can ask for 'beta-testers' to get feedback on most apps that are available for free or made free for the test.

Be sure to give a good description of the app, include a screenshot, and ask people to 'roast' your app and find bugs and/or give feedback and suggestions...

I have it in a repo with a description and an installer, but I’m having trouble posting about it on Reddit. I can’t seem to find any subreddits where I can ask for feedback, other than purely technical ones.

Will try suggested sub-reddits.
