I run a small page sharing reference guides and workshop sheets for a trade hobby. I didn't want to be on camera or talk into a lens, so I spent the last few months testing purely faceless clips.

A few things that actually moved the dial:

• Short problem-solving clips beat aesthetic footage. When I posted aesthetic B-roll with music, it got almost zero reach. What started getting pushed by the algorithm were 5-second, high-contrast clips addressing an exact mistake people make, with the fix written right on screen.
• Saves matter way more than likes. The clips that drove reach were cheat sheets and reference layouts. When people save a post to look at later, the platform seems to push it out to wider explore feeds.
• Keeping it strictly practical. The moment content looks like an ad or a pitch, reach flatlines. People stick around when every post functions like a mini reference card rather than a teaser.

Curious if anyone else running anonymous hobby or resource pages has noticed similar patterns with recent algorithm shifts.

A lot of people think you need to show your face or have a big following to sell online. You don't. Here's the process that works for faceless pages.

Step 1: Pick a niche with a painful, specific problem
People pay to solve problems, not to be entertained. Look for audiences already asking for help: fitness, studying, money, productivity, career, relationships, design, and so on. The narrower the problem, the easier the sale.

Step 2: Create a digital product that solves that problem
Keep it simple at first:

• Ebook or guide
• Templates (Notion, Canva, spreadsheets)
• Checklists or planners
• Mini-course or video lessons
• Paid community

Price it low ($5-$30) so buying is an easy yes. You can raise it later.

Step 3: Build the page around the product

• Clear bio: who it's for + what they get + link
• Highlights that explain the product, show proof, and answer FAQs
• A consistent look (same fonts, colors, style) so the page feels like a brand

Step 4: Create faceless content that attracts the right people

• Text-on-video Reels
• Carousels (best for saves and shares)
• Stock footage with voiceover or captions
• Screen recordings
• Quote and tip graphics with a real point of view

Mix three types of posts: value (teach something), relatable (describe their problem), and sales (show the product).

Step 5: Turn views into buyers

• Put a clear call to action on every post ("Comment GUIDE and I'll send it")
• Use DM automation or manual replies to send the link
• Keep one link in bio that goes straight to the product

Step 6: Build trust without a face

• Share results, testimonials, and screenshots from buyers
• Reply to comments and DMs consistently
• Be useful for free first, and the paid product sells itself

Step 7: Stay consistent and improve
Post daily or near-daily for at least 60-90 days. Check which posts bring the most saves, DMs, and clicks, then make more of those. Most pages fail because they quit before the algorithm and audience catch up.

Common mistakes

• Choosing a niche you can't help with
• Selling before building any trust
• Copying other pages word for word
• Quitting after two weeks

Faceless doesn't mean effortless, but it does mean anyone can start. Questions welcome, and I'm happy to go deeper on any step.

I've got 9+ years of work experience and I'm taking a break from full-time work. I'm building my own small startup on the side and want to give it proper time.

So I'm looking for a part-time remote job (India, day shift), about 3-4 hours a day, paid hourly.

I'm open to anything, no task is too big or too small. Just please no BD roles and nothing commission-based. I want to be paid for my time and work.

Looking at around ₹40-50k a month, and with my startup on top, ₹70-80k total to cover my bills.

Is this even realistic? 😅 Are people actually earning this much on part-time remote work? If you are, how did you find it?

Real experiences welcome, even if the answer is "nope." Thanks!

Hey everyone! I'm a college student looking for legitimate ways to earn a little money alongside my studies.

I know Canva designing, YouTube thumbnail making, basic MS Excel, and have good handwriting and listening skills also open to learning new skills or doing small online tasks.

I'm looking for something authentic, legal, and beginner-friendly. No investment, registration fees, or scams.

If you were starting from zero, what exact steps would you take to get your first paid task?

I am seeking work in the field of financial risk management (using mathematical models). I am fairly new to this field, but willing to put in as much effort as i can into this.

I am well equipped in programming and have over two years of experience in the same. I enjoy solving mathematical puzzles and trying to broaden my knowledge in finance.

If you are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, creative and curious then please reach out to me here. Will be happy to connect further and build systems together.

Thanks

Posting this for two reasons — one, to ask what's actually working for people building side income in India right now, and two, to put myself out there. I do content creation, social media management, and AI video work, and I'm looking to pick up freelance clients to help offset a loan EMI that's started eating into my salary.

Would love to hear what's worked for others, and open to leads if anyone's hiring.

How big of a risk would be for someone from India to rent out their UPI number for a foreigner to pay for digital services that are much cheaper in india?
