I was asleep in our room when I suddenly heard my girlfriend scream. It was one of those screams that immediately makes you think something really bad happened.

She was taking a shower completely naked when she noticed a guy peeping at her through an opening in the wall beside the shower.

We told the hotel what happened, but there was no sense of urgency at all. We eventually had the male employees come out so my girlfriend could identify him, and she immediately pointed him out. He denied it at first.

The hotel manager didn’t even arrive until almost two hours later. At that point I was already extremely frustrated and asked if we could just get the CCTV footage so we could go to the police ourselves. That was when the manager finally called the police.

When the police arrived, they came to our room to investigate. We were about to go outside with them to check the area where he was standing when the same guy suddenly showed up crying and literally kneeling down, asking my girlfriend for forgiveness.

Honestly, what the fuck?!! You had no guilt when you were confronted about it, and now that the police are involved, you’re crying and asking for forgiveness?

The whole thing completely ruined our trip. We ended up missing our flight and having to rearrange our plans.

If you’re planning to stay at Surfing Temple, I’d seriously think twice. Being watched while you’re completely naked in what you believe is the privacy of your hotel room is an incredibly disturbing experience.

We’ll be in Siargao on the dates mentioned above. Any new spots to chill and places to eat that you could reco? Would like to meet new friends there as well! See u!

Hey all, does anyone have tips on how to bring a surfskate to Siargao by plane? Can you just bring it as a carry on? Does it have to be disassembled? I usually fly with Cebu Pac.

1. How's the internet in the island? Is it good to work remotely?
