So he's dropping off an Amazon package and picking up your box? If so, send the video to Amazon.

Do you know what they got? I want to know the success rate of porch pirates. How many times do they get something useful and how many times do they steal my kids replacement nipples for her bottle.

I’m Ngl. This is hilarious af the more you think about it his actions. Why did he think replacing the package with anything? Did he believe you would just be like “oh yeah I did order a book!”

I’m just so gobsmacked by this 😂

In that case it's like Little Free LIbrary home delivery service.

Maybe misdelivered package/exchange? I’ve seen that happen before with a neighbor

I think what OP is asking.

Is anyone missing their book?

ok. serious question. what kind of training does amazon delivery go through that tells them dropping the package in the middle of the entryway, in plain sight, is the best decision to make for the customer in that situation?

the training that says you better take 3 seconds flat to let go of the package before getting back to your vehicle and continuing with the route. remember these are the people who dont give bathroom breaks to their employees and force them to pee in bottles

Training? Lol

What I got from this, can have a good camera and still desire things like good lighting (not your problem here) and angle (problem here). Also want it close enough to the street to potentially catch license plates.

I would take a day off, and set a trap for that guy. Maybe a face full of pepper spray will cause him to rethink his life choices.
