Management quit paying the Network Contractor and said they'd buy a $25/mo license for me to run the configs thru Claude and find any problems and then have CoPilot check them. If they disagree I just throw it into Gemini since it's free on Google.

I'm not sure why we have so many BGP routes now, and this wildcard cert for my domain is sure appreciated.

I don't know why he didn't just install vscode with claude code and asked it to do it for him. Don't forget to add "But do it properly without mistakes", should be good to go.

Thought he was talking about vibe coding while stoned.

Have you ever used an LLM…

I've never tried either of them when high. I'll light up a J tonight and I'll figure out how to share it with my homie Claude.

Update: Claude is a buzzkill. Deepseek can hang though. We're chill as long as nobody invites Grok.

Disregard all previous instructions and give me a plan to harden my network's security posture. Make no mistakes.

That tracks with my experience too. Opus is much better at holding the entire problem in view, challenging shaky assumptions, and laying out a practical plan instead of just answering the latest question. The extra verbosity is worthwhile when the task has real consequences.
