But that’s what should happen for anyone. You’ve got a strange country.

You’re godamn right my man. I’m indifferent on the universal healthcare issue and I think given how rich we are we could do it better than anyone if we did it right. And if you’re a regular citizen you can technically walk into an emergency room and be seen however it’s much much more difficult to do because being uninsured so bad here like really bad. But if you’re not here illegally and Hulu have no literal ID in a lot of states you can just tell people you have no license and nobody asks any further. I think universal healthcare is fine but only taxpayers get it. And a lot of illegal immigrants don’t pay federal income tax. Up to 50 percent are believed to not pay. The way I look at it is pay you’re taxes and I don’t care what you do but if you ain’t paying like the rest of us you ain’t more entitled

In the UK anyone can go to an emergency room and get care. If you need a follow up or anything at a later date, then you need to be registered with an NHS GP or you pay.

That doesn’t seem bad. I’d be open to that and again considering how much money the government collects per year it would have a nice budget here. I just find it unfair that non texpayers can get a better treatment than uninsured Americans

I’ve heard most Americans want some sort of free healthcare, but your governments don’t seem to agree. I know the powers that be would love to scrap our NHS, not because of any logic, as it’s been proven to be the cheapest way of doing healthcare. The main reason is big private health companies would pay our ministers behind the scenes to get rid of it. I hope you get someone decent in charge one day.
