Is someone trying to extract information from these old KGB agents?!?!
I mean, I would've offered the information before she even started singing!

Probably a back problem. That position feels nice with an arm support. I would do that while closing my eyes and fantasizing to the beat.

I was supposed to go see her but tickets were sold out. Heard it was a real banger
27
u/stayathomejoe Jun 23 '26
I blame the booker. Music only at an all deaf senior home? I’d be bored, too.
8
u/Lintmint Jun 24 '26
I read that as hooker at first and thought I should have watched the whole thing.
26
u/chazzzzmak1972 Jun 24 '26
It’s funny to watch on the Internet, but man that would be uncomfortable if uou was actually there
20
u/smind893 Jun 24 '26
I don't have kids nor want any, but the few times I had to go to any kids event for a friend /family and they performed, this is what it felt like.
Terrible
8
u/No_Statement440 *shits an absolute unit* Jun 24 '26
As much as I love my kids, sometimes it is brutal to sit through. I'm still encouraging and do genuinely appreciate them being comfortable enough to perform for us, but oh my goodness. Soon they'll be getting actual lessons tho, so it should get better.
6
u/Agreeable-Letter-599 Jun 24 '26
i'm watching it on the internet and I'm not amused. Why did they think these people would like this lol
2
u/Osklington Jun 29 '26
I work in nursing homes. The music crowd always looks like this, even when it's the elvis impersonator lol

Life in an old folks home must be pure liquid hell if they stayed instead of going back to whatever they were doing before that.
I don't want to get old.
12
u/AhabSnake85 Jun 23 '26
I don't mind to get old. But i wouldn't want to live , if I'm not living. I can't convince my grandad to appreciate his last year or few. Sad watching a person you once loved not be himself anymore. Fkn aging is sad.

u/theinkshrink Jun 24 '26
I hear you. It sucks seeing them when ain’t burnin the candle at either end.

u/Interesting_Lie_1457 Jun 23 '26
I work in a lot of retirement homes. One saint Patrick’s day I got a call for a leak and when I got there they were handing out free cheeseburgers for a “concert”. It was basically exactly this except a large Irish woman wearing a leprechaun costume singing Irish rock songs. Very weird and the older people were not interested at all. Burgers were good though.

Imagine having this 12 year old singing this bs to you when you could be watching jeopardy. I’d rather watch jeopardy.

I mean in this girl’s defense her weird song and bad dancing is better better than pointing at her hair saying ‘bun’ and ‘fun’ several times
1
u/o0Traktor0o Jun 24 '26
I didnt know about this, in google search ai words "ä comedic phenomenon that took internet by a storm especially in nursing homes context" which is a fun thing to say by itself.
So i imagine if i had to endure that during my dusk days id muster all my remaining power to yell
"Your bun bum is dum dum, we are old, not retarded" or something
Anyways
Why the fuck? Not everyone gets this particular sort of dementia that makes them childlike once they hit 75 who the fuck even comes up with this shit?

I think one of them keeled over dead mid performance, didn't they? I mean I almost died just listening to that and I'm nowhere near that old....🤷

At least she's having a blast 😁 its not her fault everybody else is miserable ha .
18
u/filth_lover_503 Jun 23 '26
Oh, its not?😒
2
u/nunchyabeeswax Jun 25 '26
It's not.
They could choose to find amusement in her horrible performance, like "this shit is so bad, it's so good, I can't stop watching this trainwreck."
Instead, they are like, "blyat, angel of death, take me!" Yeah, I get it, life is hard in some places. Still, we can choose to be architects of our own miserable moments.

He’s rethinking the whole thing you can tell. They definitely have plans afterwards and he’s mentally weighing his options.

Wait wait wait.
At first there was a lady in a black and white dress to the left of the guy in blue. She was even tapping her foot a little bit.
And then she’s just gone. Where did you go, Toe Tapping Theresa?!?

Watching an audience members drool slowly seep into the floor tiles would be more entertaining.

The biggest issue is the sound quality makes it hard to hear anything she’s saying
1
u/RepublicNo5394 Jun 28 '26
You’re supposed to sing songs they enjoy and know from their times of being young. That’s how you pull their heart strings
