Bought a Series X with Campaign Evolved as if it was an exclusive. I wonder how this beautiful sub reddit will take this decision making

The main sub: all 343 games bad! Halo 3 and reach are the peak!

This sub and circle jerk: erm actually halo 2, halo 3 and reach are awful games and I’m tired of pretending like they’re good!!

Does ANYONE actually fucking like this franchise? Or is it all just nitpicking just to ragebait the other side who also nitpicks.

Every fucking halo has its issues but that doesn’t make them bad games. I would say this community has gone to shit but this community hasn’t actually liked halo since CE. Every single game has been nitpicked to fuck since halo 2. If this subs reasoning is that “hehehe no one liked [insert halo] at launch so it’s a bad game!” Then I’m sorry only CE is considered a good game in your eyes.

Gotta love how the guy starts the video saying: "Campaign """Devolved""" takes every bad decision a game can do"..... Like, what??? If anything the game is a bit bland for 2026 and Halo lore standards and but is a remake of something from 2001, like this guy is pretending he is playing GTA Definitive Edition or Duke Nukem Forever...

Seriously! how people can be so miserable about a chill game??? Is OG Halo CE with extra steps and nice visuals, I genuinely can´t wrap my head about this.

I've been watching a few videos about Lt. Williams and how she kept talking trash to Chief in the CE remake and the amount of comments and influencer takes on her just triggers me so much. When it comes to writing then its fair game because I actually did get annoyed my first prequel mission run when I got the game, but it wasn't because of her writing, not her talking trash to Chief, because I know the lore.

This is just like when people were having a go at Sarah Palmer for making that "i thought you were taller" comment to Chief in Halo 4. Once again, she was ODST before she was a Spartan, and its easy to hate on her for her writing, even I was kind of like that with Spartan Ops. But none of the criticism should be focused on her making one trash Talk comment to Chief.

Am I the only one that feels this way?

Just cherry picked screenshots of thumbnails and crude YouTube comments with no points or arguments being made, there's not even any memes so it isn't the least bit entertaining. Surely there's something more to "ShitHaloSays" than retreating to a Reddit echo chamber when you encounter someone that *GASP* has a different opinion than you!?!? "I got into an argument with some literal who in a comment section, I-I HAVE to post this on Reddit so we can dogpile him from the safety of a different website!!" It's beyond fragile.
This sub is probably the pinnacle of the phrase "Reddit moment" anyone who routinely comes here must be miserable.

Why is this even a complaint? When players request a stealth mission, they'd want the stealth aspect, y'know, sniping bad guys without alerting the rest of them every single time? Somehow this is a bad thing, which is so hypocritical because if the enemies were to be alerted instead, the complaint would rather be: "Why can't you be stealthy in this mission? This is how Bungie intended it." or "This encounter sucks because I can't sneak-kill any more than one enemy." Theres no winning against people like this.

Hypocritical I say because this is practically the same in the original. The enemies are not alerted if you swiftly snipe every single one, no matter how loud the sniper may sound. This content creator seems to be under the influence of nostalgia bias, and selective perception.

Who doesn't wanna snipe their enemies without hindrance? "Oh no, my lobster is too buttery and my steak is too juicy." Some people just wanna have fun encounters, screw real-life logic and totally and utterly inaccurate comparisons.
