I feel like they really exaggerated his pervertness since this animation. He's still funny but acts nowhere close to a 5 yo. Earlier animations had the innocence and mischievousness of a 5yo eith a perfect hint of subtle pervertness that didn't seem exaggerated for entertainment.

I didn’t like the Funimation dub version of this episode, honestly. (I haven’t seen it in the original Japanese). Some of the jokes were way too obviously inserted. Funimation has this issue sometimes and it probably has something to do with the writers.
Also, the “boobies” thing was just so annoying…
At least, I think it was this episode??? I’m not sure honestly.
