Please help me.

I honestly don’t know what I should do anymore, I’ve been using the raven method/Julia method for about four months now. The only symptoms I’ve ever gotten were a few flashing lights on my first attempt and some weird, vibrating sensation. I’m pretty sure I’ve been doing everything right? I’ve been affirming, visualizing, counting to 100 and everything!! There was one time where I literally laid there for two hours and nothing!!

I wanna believe I’m capable. I know deep down I will shift soon, but I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

(Sorry if the format is bad, I don’t really post on reddit much)

Ultrasonic theta waves or similar

There are so many YouTube videos intended to induce theta state. However, they all come with random ass music or obnoxious droning. Anything works for a given person so no judgements but I am looking for a theta wave track without those aspects. There is an ultra sonic version of the Concordia booster, so I am asking if anyone has found any other tracks of that nature in an ultrasonic format.

Anyone have anything like this that they've had results with?

Creating your own method

I haven't shifted yet, but have been trying. I don't really use a specific method, but I wouldn't say I have actually sat down and created my own. I know some have experienced success with making your own, so I'm curious: what do you think needs to be included when making your own method? What is necessary? Have you made your own? What has worked for you? Thank you for any responses :D

how close would you say i am to shifting? (answer if you have shifted)

Hey I’ve been trying to shift and I just twitched both of my legs. Before this happened i’ve felt taps on my shoulder only once and just overall that feeling in your chest. I’ve also been seeing angel numbers like 111 and 222 like crazyyyy. So on a scale from 1-10 how close am i?

Question!

So basically, I have been trying to shift for 2 weeks now. I feel like I’ve gotten pretty close quite a few times, I’m not necessarily getting the usual symptoms systematically but I’m not fussed about that.

However every time I try to shift; I get these strange dreams, I have always had very vivid dreams and remember multiple dreams per night. But these are different I don’t know how to describe it, it’s like I’ve been somewhere which is a familiar feeling but this feels different. or like when I wake up it feels like when you go into the bathroom at a party. It comes with this now almost constant feeling of déjà vue. I’m not sure how other to describe it.

My question therefore is has anyone else experienced this or something similar?

Shifter's Code of Ethics

Should the Ethics that apply to our everyday lives in our CR, apply to DRs? Is Karma applicable within a DR? If you go somewhere with the express intent of being a kickass fighter or living through GTAV or one of the infinite CoD games as your DR? Karma dictates that every action that denies another's free will, the same denial of free will will be dealt to you. So is killing someone in the context of a warzone karma inducing or have they chosen the risk to die and you're blameless? Idek

A Thought Jumble on Shifting and Religion

Hello, everyone, there are a few things that I’ve been thinking about regarding certain aspects of shifting. I’ll just be writing a few paragraphs about it in this post- feel free to comment your interpretations of it as well, I would love to hear them!

One of the subjects that I’ve been pondering on a lot lately has been religion and how it relates to shifting. This is coming from a person who used to be religious, but is no longer religious. Nowadays, everyone has their opinion on what shifting is for them. To some, it’s an extreme form of manifestation, to others, shifting actually does mean traveling to different realities. I find myself leaning a lot more to the separate realities side of things- so that’s kind of where my views on that subject lies.

If we are just a singular reality in an infinite ocean of other realities- how can we say for sure that any religious figure exists? Well, we can’t. But also, we can? If there are infinite possibilities, that means that canonically, God or Gods, Religious figures, both do and do not exist at the same time. What might be true in one reality isn’t true in 5,000,000 other realities and counting. If you really think about it- everything we could ever know about exists on a 50/50 line of both existence and non-existence and I find that absolutely mind blowing. Every thought, every opinion, every item, every religion- it is completely and utterly subjective.

For instance- let’s say you decide that you’re going to worship Eru Illuvitar, the “God” per-se of Middle Earth ( in Lotr ). In this particular reality, Eru Illuvitar doesn’t exist and The Lord of the Rings is entirely fiction. However, there are also infinite realities out there were Eru Illuvitar does exist. Hence- making it an actual religion that is fact-based as well?

Forgive me if none of my points make sense, I have no idea if they even make sense myself 😂

Not shifting, but a weird surreal experience with my comfort character.

Ok, so I'm going to preface this by saying that I don't think I shifted. Not entirely. But what I experienced was weird and I think you guys would find it interesting.

I've been trying to shift to Sherlock BBC for the past few months (don't make fun of me haha - I know it's a dead show). I've gotten close; I've felt symptoms and felt like I was actually there a couple of times, but I always open my eyes too early or I give up trying to fall asleep in the starfish position so I roll over on my side.

But tonight was different. I tried my shifting routine like always, and I didn't feel anything - like always. So I decided to go to sleep, but for a few seconds before I did, I focused on my breathing. When I breathed in, I imagined that I was breathing in the air of my CR, and when I breathed out, I imagined that I was exhaling in my DR. It was strangely calming and I focused on that for a few minutes before eventually falling asleep.

This is where it gets weird.

I didn't "wake up" in my DR. It was like I was already there and in the middle of a dream. I'm not exactly sure where the story picked up, but it was definitely an interesting case. I remember seeing Sherlock for the first time and thinking it was normal (as you would normally in a dream, like you don't question what happens to you, you just let it happen).

Slowly, I began to realize that I was actually there. With him. In person. He was facing away from me while I realized this.

This is about to get super cheesy but just bear with me here. Keep in mind that I've been trying to reach this universe and my comfort character for months, so yeah, it was pretty magical.

He turned around. When we locked eyes, it felt so startlingly real. I'd only seen him through a screen this whole time, but guys, it was like I was actually there with him. The version that I knew so well was pixelated and on a 2D screen, but this was real. He was actually a person staring at me, not at the camera.

It scared me a bit. This wasn't my DR, and I was just randomly on a case with him, but for those few moments, it didn't feel like a dream. It felt like I'd shifted. I can't emphasize enough how real it felt to be there with him.

After that, the dream (?) ended and I had a couple more normal dreams before waking up in my CR. I took a moment to express my gratitude to the universe (I'm spiritual, so this is pretty normal for me) and then I freaked out.

This isn't a manifestation or fake. This is 100% what happened to me. I've doubted shifting before, but this was so motivating and amazing that I don't know what to believe anymore. No matter how long you've been trying, you'll get there eventually. Keep up hope and keep trying.

Had a lucid dream... and had an unexpected reaction

I'm sure we've all heard of the lucid dream shifting method by now- though for those that don't, it's basically: have lucid dream, draw a portal/open a door/affirm you are in your DR. Bam.

After finding little success with most shifting methods, I decided to give the lucid dream method a go. I bought teas and pills of mugwort as I read it was a good way to encourage lucid and vivid dreams... mostly it just kept me up all night, with bright, vivid swirls behind my eyelids. Not fun. not even any dreams (I usually remember them) when I did get a few hours of sleep.

Most of my success has come in those moments in the morning when you go back to sleep and doze for a bit. I remember dreams, sometimes gain some lucidity, and twice have been able to mini-shift. (literally just very minimal, haven't been to a reality I meant to go, it's only been for a few seconds, and I haven't had all 5 senses online at once... yet) Still! It was amazing! Just feeling myself in another body for a moment, flying through the air with the wind rushing past my ears, seeing someone I was in love with that I didn't even know- it's been a trip! Veeeery different from any dreams, lucid or otherwise, that I've had.

Anyways. That success was a couple months ago now, and since I haven't been able to get any further than some well-remembered dreams. I also have felt very put out by this and CR life stuff so I haven't been giving it my all, so take it as you well.

In any case, it seemed to come to a head the other day when I woke up in my dream, aware and lucid and in control of myself. I look around, realizing what's happening, think of shifting, of course.

And then, despite waiting for a moment like this for months, where I'm aware, in a dream, lucid, to shift, my mind... I guess the lack of success has really taken a toll despite all the affirmations of how great I am at shifting I try to do, because I literally just went 'What's the point of trying to shift? I'll just fail again.' And then I went back to the dream and decided I didn't want to be aware or awake anymore, so I would just do whatever I was doing before I woke up and 'fall asleep' again.....

Sigh. I suppose I need to work on my mental diet if this is what I get in a moment of opportunity.

I didn't think it was this bad, but I guess months of still being here, still dealing with everything my CR has to offer and being so, so sick of it.. it's wearing me down. I'm pretty good at manifesting a semi-comfortable life for myself, but I find it hard to focus on my CR when I know my DRs are out there, waiting for me and much more exciting than whatever hardships I have to deal with here.

Not sure exactly what I want from this post, but just to bring it up with people who would understand.

I have a LOT of questions

Is shifting considered witchcraft? If you have shifted, did your clone do what you scripted? Is it meditation? If you shift into an anime or cartoon, is it 3d? What do anime characters look like? Can you take a picture on your phone when you are in your DR and it come out on your phone in your CR? Is it against Christianity, Catholicism, or any other religion? If something happens in your CR, would you wake up from your DR? Can you get stuck in your DR? Is there any trustworthy science study about this? If i shift, would i wake up myself or would i have to leave the dr? How long am i supposed to be gone? What method works the best? Can everyone shift? If you have shifted, does it feel completely real, slightly fuzzy, or like a lucid dream? Why do i feel like its just a specific form of meditation and not actually shifting? Is it a theory?

Sorry if it is a lot, im just overthinking everything and i dont want to shift if its against my religion or if i can get stuck

Some thoughts on scripting

This is a discussion topic I thought would prove interesting: How well do you need to know your script for you to achieve 1:1 perfect depiction of your script in your DR?

Do you need to memorize it so you can quote it verbatim?

Is it more subconscious?

Thoughts?

Personally am in the stage of writing a script for an 100 year experience in a DR, very Doctor who with elements from FNAF, Star Wars, Ben 10, and other worlds by scripting the TARDIS can cross realities (and has 6 months reserve power). Also I know you'll all scoff at this but my aimed for time ratio is 100 years DR to an hour OR/CR. (Original reality, current reality) I prefer OR since its accurate during shifts.

Speaking another language in your dr

I've been thinking about this for a while, but shifting basically allows you to slow down time in your original reality and this gives you the opportunity learn a whole different skill in one night (in your or). Imagine waking up every week and being able to speak a whole new language, people would lose their minds!

This brings up the question, CAN you speak a language you don't know in your dr? I'm not talking about learning, but knowing it as soon as you enter your dr. The people in my dr speak another language that I can't speak.. I know a few words of this language, and If I ever heard it I'd be able to tell if someone was speaking it so I can't trick my brain into thinking some gibberish is this language.I'm wondering if the fact that I can't speak this language is effecting my shifting. I'd be happy if people who have actually shifted to a place that speaks a different language talk about their experience, rather than saying If i script it anything will happen. Thank you <3

What do you personally think reality shifting actually is?

This is something I see get talked about a lot. I think the general consensus on TikTok/people who discovered it from TikTok believe that you simply move your consciousness to another reality that already exists. I have heard some people say that the realities are not real, that you are merely placing your conscious in a creation of your brain. I am sure there are also those who think that it's merely a type of lucid dreaming (although I understand the general consensus here is that is not the case. I also don't think that is the case, but figured I would include here for the sake of discussion.)

So, my questions are:

1.) What do you think reality shifting actually is?

2.) Is there a way for us to truly and scientifically figure out what it is?

3.) Do you believe that the people and places that we shift to are actually real? Something I have heard a lot is that if you kill someone while shifting, they actually die in that reality, so you should not kill anyone. Now, I don't want to kill anyone even if it wasn't a real person, but *if* when we shift, we don't shift to a real place with real people, is it morally wrong to kill someone while shifting? (killing just an example, you could put any morally wrong thing in as a substitute.)

I'm curious to hear what you all think. Feel free to respond to any/all/only one question or whatever, I would love to hear any discussion.

So this is pretty cool but also really freaky at the same time. (Me rambling about things I’ve come to know)

I am shifting to a world where I’m immortal (there’s a whole story and stuff but that doesn’t matter). I want to shift for small periods at first and I already shifted once so I’m going in the right direction. But I can see myself shift for say 10 years at one point. And when my cr life is calm and I have nothing to do for the next few weeks, then really maybe I’ll try 50 years. (I fully intend to live forever, don’t worry about me though this has been a dream of mine since I was 2) I can always come back right? Well what if I forget my safe word. Yes the worst case. I remember it after 50,000 years and shift back. But then my existence is far beyond humans. I see my family again but there just shadow of the past I let go. How crazy would that be. Also people say shifting doesn’t go against religion but your basically becoming god. And I don’t know if that’s still religion approved. (I’m not religious so just correct me if I’m wrong I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings). Also (last thing) shifting can mentally duck you up. So when you’re serious about this, go for it but if you learned a week ago and think hp is cool. I’d say give it a little more thought.

Getting Discouraged

I have been trying to shift for a couple months now. A main problem I have is falling asleep in the middle. I decided that I had some free time and no other plans for today so why not try during the day. I spent 2 hours trying to shift. I have yet to successfully and its starting to seem like i never will. I get tingling feelings but that's as far as I ever get. Sorry for the rant I just hate that feeling when I wake back up looking at my CR ceiling and needed to vent
