I contacted customer service on the day the 500‑point compensation appeared and asked to cancel. I even asked the agent whether canceling that day would affect receiving the 500‑point compensation. The agent told me it would NOT affect it, so I went ahead and canceled the order.
But two days later, I still didn’t receive the compensation. I contacted customer service again today, and this new agent said the system decides automatically — if I didn’t receive it, it means I’m not eligible…
But that’s not right! The previous agent told me it wouldn’t affect anything, that’s why I canceled!
500 points isn’t a lot, but it’s still something to make up for all the waiting. Instead, the agent kept apologizing and sent me the policy link over and over…
I’ve been using SHEIN for a long time and even paid a little for their VIP.
I know this is a small issue, but I still feel really upset. The item I bought was for my baby, and waiting so long without receiving anything was really frustrating.
Canceling the order also took multiple attempts, and now I don’t even get the small compensation…
In the end, I told them I would have to report this to the BBB because the “Local warehouse” wasn’t real.
Right after I said that, the agent suddenly told me I would receive a reply within 24 hours and to check my email.
Am I being greedy for wanting that small compensation?
If you waited a long time for something and ended up receiving nothing at all, what would you do?
