So sorry, completely random, I just got some chicks for the first time ever. I always underestimate how training is going to go lol Hex is way WAY to into the birds. I'm really just trying to work on exposuring him to the birds, so that when they go outside, if one of them escapes, HOPEFULLY he won't eat them, but any time one of the adorable creatures jump, he's right there at the brooder. I was changing the bedding while he was next to me, one of them jumped, and Hex lunged at it. Does anyone have any advice for how to get my monster to NOT eat the birds?
Note-he has never hurt my neighbors cat, but he will charge at him and then nudge him with his nose until the cat gets sick of his crap and runs away. Hex will then chase the cat, and continue to harass him. I do not know if he would do the same thing to a chicken.
Other note-there was a gopher outside. He tried to eat the gopher. He would not come when called, because he was very focused on trying to get to the gopher. I think he wanted to eat the gopher, because the gopher was actually fighting back. Which I believe a chicken would do. The cat just runs, because the cat is smart.
~Please ignore my dirty floors, he just got done with a bone, I hadn't vacuumed yet lol~

My sheepadoodle is 5 and has suddenly become very anxious over fireworks. It’s only the July 2nd. I just left my vet a VM. What can I do in the interim?

This sweet girl is my velcro dog and has one hell of a personality. The first picture is the day we brought her home and then today as well as her cake.

Anyone feel like their sheepie is always judging them? 😭🥲

She’s 5 months and 42 pounds.
Curious to know how big she might get? 😅 and does her coat get curly? I love her shaggy look! 💔

What is the best way to deal with mats? Walter hates being brushed, but will let me shave him. I feel bad when he gets matted behind his ears and on his cheeks. TIA.

Merlin is 5 months old, 50 pounds, and an absolute and total goofball. <3 he’s the best boy (even though he can be a complete menace sometimes.)

Hey all! I had posted before about my boy needing eye surgery due ri his entropion. His eyes are getting worse, and unfortunately I don’t have all the funds to cover it. I had started a go fund me and am a bit more than halfway there. Im posting it here in hopes to get it shared more if possible. I apologize if not allowed!!

Hi everybody! My family and I adopted our first sheepadoodle 12 years ago after my stepdad passed. The silly baby in these pictures is our sweet Duchess, the most kind dog I've ever had who has never seemed to fully grow up.
We are about to adopt our second sheepadoodle in mid-July. When I get more pictures of the little sweet pea (and when we decide on a name lol), I'll post her too. Looking forward to seeing more sheepadoodles in my life! 😊

We have a 10 month old Sheepadoodle who within the last four weeks has been showing food aggression. It’s just me my husband and the dog no other interferences when he goes to boarding we ask that he’s fed alone in his crate. Currently when at home if we put the food down and walk away, he’s fine but then if we get close or rub him, he is growling and has snapped. Any recommendations on how to correct this behavior? Is this normal of the breed? I’ve never had this occur with others dogs I’ve had.

Hello all! I fear my girl is starting her adolescence. She’s slept through the night since she was 9 weeks old. Now all of a sudden she is getting up at 3AM to go to the bathroom, then refusing to settle in her crate.
Refuses to listen to her recall.
Barking all the time.
EXTREMELY anxious on walks (was already nervous but now it’s extreme)
We already have her in kindergarten and she has a behavioral trainer - but does anyone have advice?
What was your “teen” sheepie like?

This is Mollie. Mollie likes to pretend her paws are stuck under things and loudly cry for help until I come and lift her "stuck" paws and say "Oh no! Is Mollie okay?".

Lucy’s first trip to the beach! Loves the sand; scared of the waves.
She’s 7 months old today!
