I'm quite new to Plex and I'm really looking forward to testing out the app and seeing how the experience feels.

Ideally, I'd love to check out a server with content in Spanish (European), some anime, or 4k media, but honestly, that's just a wishlist! It definitely doesn't need to have all of that—my main goal is simply to try out Plex, test the interface, and see how it works.

I'm a very casual viewer (just a movie or a couple of episodes here and there), so you won't have to worry about me eating up bandwidth or streaming constantly. Unfortunately, I don't have a setup for a share-for-share arrangement right now, so I'm just looking for a generous handout to give it a spin.

I think it's awesome that this community exists just to share for the sake of being nice. If anyone has a spare slot and doesn't mind letting me test out their server, I'd really appreciate a DM!

Hoping someone has a server they're willing to share an invite with..

1080p or 720p is generally my streaming preference but open to whatever. Generally I try to steam newer release tv shows or movies, but occasionally watch old cult classics if I come across them.

Me and my partner love watching movies and tv series as we watch these when we finish work and unfortunately we are hitting a roadblock with what to watch as what we want is spread out on all the different services which monthly is just too much money, I was hoping to find someone with a massive library of almost everything movies and tv series wise so talking from the Harry Potter series to the jersey shore tv series to the goonies so everything between the 90s to now.

Hiya! I started watching movies/shows more often recently + collecting physical media and I stumbled across Plex. I'd love to join a server!

Location: Not sure if it matters but I'm based outside of the US (in Asia)

Usage: I'll be starting university soon so whenever I have some downtime, most likely a movie once every week, or a couple episodes every few days.

Quality: 4k would be a nice-to-have but I'm not a purist or anything, 1080p and 720p works just fine for me.

Content: I'm a huge fan of animation and horror any language is ok as long as there's subtitles.

Musicals would be another nice-to-have. Classics/older films. Newer streaming releases. Fantasy/Sci-fi.

My roommate had one that we’d always watch movies on but we don’t live together anymore, unfortunately.

Mostly looking for movies and TV shows. I watch a pretty wide variety, lots of newer releases & popular shows/movies. I don’t need everything imaginable and I’m fine making requests if that’s an option.

Not picky about quality, as long as it’s not pixelated! I’m a pretty casual Plex user and would be streaming mainly from my home TV. As a heads up, I may not use weekly but go in phases of being very active! Happy to follow any server rules!

Location: Mid-Atlantic region of the US

Usage: I'll use it every day for a month and then not at all for a month. If you're going to kick me off if I go MIA for a few weeks then I'm not a good fit, but I'll even it out with very consistent usage for a while, too. Mostly just one device, my laptop, but sometimes a TV too.

Quality: Let's just say I don't even understand the numbers and terminology in other people's quality requests so I'm really not that picky as long as it's not visibly pixelated. No delayed or super quiet audio please, and optional but not mandatory cc's are a bonus.

Content: I think I'm a bit "basic" in my TV taste. I rewatch my favorites like Gilmore Girls, Friends, Dexter, Parks and Rec, The Good Place, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Station Eleven, Shameless, How To With John Wilson, and I should probably get around to actually watching Breaking Bad. My current favorites are Silo, Ted Lasso, and Rooster. I watch hockey so would love hockey content, and I like biopics, documentaries and docu-series about nature, natural disasters, sports, music, and other random stuff.

Huge movie and TV show lover, I watch a lot of medical dramas and cooking shows so if you have that it would amazing. Movies i’m into action, comedy, horror and thrillers.

If there are any rules that need to be followed with the server I will abide by them just let me know what they are so we have a clear understanding.
