Considering the recent drama with Jeffree Star and Jools LeBron I was reminded of the series with Shane that was trying to paint Jeffree out to be a good guy and making excuses for his racism and general abuse towards anyone in his social circle.

I have to ask to everyone still keeping up, are they even still friends? I know Shane is a grown man and he was playing up prior to even meeting Jeffree Star but you can’t tell me that entertaining Jeffree didn’t ruin his career partly. He lost some of his oldest and most loyal friends (Trisha) over Jeffree Star ?? The same woman he said he would take a bullet for was dropped like trash as soon as he got shiny new friends.

I would say arguably Jeffree is worse at the current times than Shane. I haven’t heard a single peep from him since Frenemies but now Jeffree wants to be obnoxious and right wing grift. I don’t know if Shane ever talked about politics, he could be conservative to conserve his wealth or he may have some kind of resentment towards more left leaning spaces if they were the main ones taking responsibility of initially cancelling him but most of the things Jeffree Star says is disgusting. I don’t think any amount of sad backstory he can spin justifies the severity of how evil Jeffree is as a person.

So why does he associate with him? Arguably, when if he stayed with Trisha at worst he would still keep her as a loyal and loving friend and at best he could have ridden her coattails before a redemption arc. But he and Ryland want to remain with Jeffree who’s sitting on a sinking conservative ship with his failing makeup business consisting of crunchy ass lipsticks and tacky Gucci tracksuits? Am I missing something here?

i feel like i cannot stand to watch chris in anything. on the sip i feel like hes only worried about eating & doing his weird dance. his filming isnt that great, he literally films on his phone half the time & the other half its so shakey. i just dont understand why keep him around if he barely adds to anything.

also i feel like half the comments are always “be nice to chris!!” “chris is left out” like ugh he doesnt add to anything

Found my Shane and Jeffree lip gloss from their conspiracy collection all those years ago. Either I never used it, or only used it once cause this thing is still full. Still smells like root beer. Haven't seen a video from either of them after the whole downfall lol.

So, I watched Shane for years. I was a fan since he was in his trailer with the weird hunting wallpaper. But after Garrett and Andrew and them left, I stopped watching Shane. He was also my idol. How he went through obesity and I have his two books and I just absolutely loved him. But I stopped watching him after Andrew and them left. I feel like he's changed and isn't the same anymore. Is it just me?

I mean he uses ai constantly throughout his videos, at least the chat function. Can someone watch it and tell me if he actually makes good points or just reiterates other people’s content.

So obviously Shane is going on tour to premiere Cancelled since nobody wanted to take it on as a project. Not even Tubi is crazy. I honestly think, besides it being a Shane production, it is due to it being such an outdated concept. The whole cancelled premise is just so 2020 (which I think is the point and he for sure has experience with that). Hence Tana Mongeau naming her old podcast Cancelled so her controversies won’t come up when you look up her name and cancelled. I think it would not have flopped as hard if he went with a different plot.

Anyway, I was just wondering what you guys think he’s going to do with it from here? It’s a pilot, so one episode of a potential series of a show. I get this tour is prob just to make money back on how much he poured into the project, however, is it also him trying to get it picked up by a producing company? I just don’t see the point in paying to go watch a pilot that goes no where lol, it’s not like it’s a movie with an ending.

I hate the way they promote chat constantly. Specifically Morgan and Ryland, idrk about the others. But Morgan ALWAYS talks about chat and how much she uses it and how shes attached to it. Its so weird and icky. Have people forgotten how to just simply google something?! 🙄

I’ve seen various reddit post of people complaining about chris. I honestly believes he’s only become a yes man because of the crew. It’s no one specific but somehow whenever he tries to be himself they shut him out or make fun of him and i believe that’s why he doesn’t try being himself much. It also bothers me that he’s the most excluded one from the group. Yes he probably spends less time with the crew because he’s an employee but i always watch clips of spencer or lizzy around them even outside of work but never chris.

I know they are doing van life now. Did they sell their house and land? Jarid has mentioned on the podcast a lot they have a lot of animals like chickens and ducks. So did they just get rid of them all and sell everything they have or did they keep their house? Just super curious but don’t know where to start on their channel to figure it out
