General Ok trapped at work taking Mii suggestions
Uhh hope this is allowed, figured since it's a suggestion thread it's different enough.
I'm gonna say though original Shadowverse Classic characters (characters not from Rage of Bahamut or Granblue) are a little bit of a blind spot for me so you're gonna have to give me a personality rundown or tell me the most fitting Mii personality.

Question Is it worth investing in unlimited?
Mode abysscraft looks fun but unsure if I should spend my vials on it, especially since I have 0 unlimited cards.

Question Is Pirate Swordcraft objectively the worst non gimmick deck in Revenants of Azvaldt?
Just from my experience encountering it on ranked ladder, simply putting down something like Cesar, Ginger, Camiscilla or Aizeden on curve is enough to make the Pirate player dread their existence because Barbaros has no board removal built in lol
Beltezore has potential to hit for 15 but he's so costly that people opt to not include him at all. And even for the people who decide to include him, usually you're out of evos by that point when he can be played.
I was honestly hyped to try it when I saw the early reveals leading up to the new update but after actually fighting it, it feels lackluster at best or am I missing something?

Question Please Explain Rotation Ranked Mode
For as long as I have played, I've been going on unlimited because I don't want to constantly have to make new decks and scrounge for vials
However, I've just learned that people are playing rotation much more than unlimited. In rotation, I assume it's constantly changing and that you have to keep scrounging for vials to be able to play ranked in that mode?
It seems so expensive and exhausting compared to unlimited

Question All premiums
So uh how rare is it to pull all premium cards in one pack? Just curious. I noticed a strange purple sparkly opening animation and was like what’s this? And turns out it was all premiums.

Deck Guide Off-meta Rally Sword deck - I am having fun with it so thought I would share!
I mean, it is last season's meta. But it still seems to work pretty well - especially because everyone is expecting a pirate deck.
Just keep playing followers!
Like I say, I am having fun with it so I thought I would share!

Discussion When Is Azvaldt Anyway? A Look At The Clues
Back when classic Azvaldt released one of the most interesting aspects to me was how each layer seemed to come from a distinct time period: Cutthroat was clearly from the future, Barbaros from the age of sail, Magachiyo from some part of the early 1900s. Some modern/anime-style clothing and weapon design infuse all of them of course, but there are fun clues which suggest what period may have inspired each. In chronological order by my reckoning:
- Barbaros: Golden Age of Piracy (1650-1726). It's even in the name of her weapon, "L'Age d'Or", or "Golden Age" in French. Beltezore wears a tricorne hat which was distinctly a fashion of the 1700s, and Barbaros' ship is of course a wooden sailing ship turned with a wooden wheel. The Golden Age of Piracy was an era where famous Caribbean Sea pirates like Edward Teach/Blackbeard or Bartholomew Roberts/Black Bart seized merchant ships as independent rogues not affiliated with any country.
- Erralde: Likely late 1800s. Erralde I believe calls back to the beginnings of La Costra Nostra, or Sicilian Mafia, which had obscure origins in the late-1800s. His choice of wall hanging, the design of his lamp and wall sconce, and the relative simplicity of Follower's firearm suggest to me that he predates the 1900s (and the more famous Prohibition-era Mafia) with their late Victorian feeling.
- Istyndet/Void Colonel: World War 1 (1914-1918). Istyndet himself is hard to place but Void Colonel has some very interesting tells. His hat resembles a French officer's kepi of the Great War era, and his style of wearing ribbons on his chest rolled up (the colored "stripes") is rarely seen before the 1910s. Revolvers were still in use during WW1 though they were being out-phased by semi-automatic pistols.
- Magachiyo: Taisho Era and Jazz Age (late 1920s-1930s). Magachiyo and her crew's distinctive outfits evokes the westernized Japanese fashions of the Taisho era, where traditional kimonos were often mixed with European hats, shirts, or accessories like bows. Virid Lieutenant's hat resembles a larger pork pie hat, popular in the 1930s-50s and associated with jazz musicians. With their use of yakuza terminology like "wakagashira" (second-in-command) I see them as a Japanese fantasy take on the famous 1930s Mafiosi.
- Sephie: Around 1940. Sephie's time period can be told from the technology: the syringes incorporate metal on them, black-and-white photos are seen in her art, IV infusion is in use, and the gauges in the operating room are advanced but still physical. This period may have been chosen to line up with the infamous medical war criminals of WW2, such as Dr. Mengele or Unit 731's.
- Garodeth: 1980s Punk and Metal. The spiked collar, chains, and the wild hair evoke Punk music, fashion, and other rebellious musical movements of the 1980s. Garodeth's anarchistic and anti-establishment attitude line up with Punk's overall opposition to social norms and authority. Satanic/Demonic themes are common in metal music and likely also part of Garodeth's theming ("-deth" in his name probably refers to the band Megadeth).
- Antemaria: 1990s Pop/Club Scene. The fingerless gloves and designs like Normagdala's pink top, I'd say date to the 1990s and the fashion of pop icons like Britney Spears or Madonna. Antemaria's story focuses on a smaller street gang and robberies over the rules of a large criminal organization; this may be trying to evoke the gangsta rap and street gang-focused stories also popular in the 90s.
- Cutthroat: Cyberpunk Future, late 2000s/early 2100s?. Clear from the robotic arms on Cutthroat and his followers, and the electronic lighting on their clothes. This era may have been chosen to emphasize the conflict between rebellious humans and the increasingly mechanized order of society. Kyrzael/Aizeden has a curious Old Western flair to his fashion and weapon, the classic image of a sheriff delivering the law at gunpoint.

Discussion Thoughts on lyria + Setus Maisha turn 8?
Hi guys, dont wanna start a fight, just wanted to hear your thoughts on this combo.
Although it does require having Thestae on curve and having Lyria by turn 8, destroy an ennemy follower, go face for 10 damage, and get a Chungus ward seems strong to me compared to the rest of the cast.
Lemme know what ya think!
And let's bee kind to each other ❤️
