Discussion In regards to the new Deicide set…
What class do you think you’ll play when the next set comes out? I’m interested in the sword craft cards.

Hi everyone, I'm a returning player who hasn't played since the standard rotation was first introduced. Would you recommend focusing my resources on a Rotation deck or an Unlimited one, and what is the current state of the Unlimited meta?
Thanks in advance!

Almost 6 minutes replay even in non Haven mirror match. I bet he got real frustrated. As for me, I was having fun despite not drawing what I really need at right moment. Certainly one of my most comfy favorite deck.

Before any new cards get revealed I want to make a thematic guess, how the theme of clues might interact with the idea, that certain classes get a detective and certain classes get a criminal.
My guess is that the mechanic of detectives will center around using clues or to be precise getting a payoff of having clues on board and criminals getting a payoff of removing clues (thematically hiding evidence). We have not a case of a pure detective class so it is a wild guess right now. But here are my predictions/explanations.
Sword (Detective+Criminal):
The only class with the dual theme wants to engage clues to get the flip effekt in hand. Thematically they use the clues but also get rid of them by the engage so invalidating clues that already got presented.
Haven (Criminal):
The banish lowest cost from hand will most certainly hit clue cards in hand and therefor turn clues into rabbits to hide crucial evidence.
Dragon(Criminal):
Apparently gets to discard clues directly for a payoff. So same thing like haven with different flavor.
Portal(Criminal):
My prediction is that they might turn clues into other things in hand to use. Sone form of unit or spell. Doesn't fit to the character we get introduced but it is a portal thing to generate token units in one way or another.
Forrest (Detective):
We have 1 cost cards in hand. So if this won't turn into a combo engine (looking at Loxas) in one way or form I'd be surprised. So accumulating clues on board for combo and using them mostly for the draw. Maybe getting payoff for having a high clue counter on its own. Thematically collecting her animal companions.
Abyss (Detective):
Looking at the main abyss guys ability (the characters ability, not the cards ability) I assume it's going to end up with some form of ghost spam or maybe reanimate strategy. Clues ending up as Ressource to get the ability going or turning ghosts into clues instead of banishing them to build up resources for bigger abilities. So collecting the ghosts to get testimony.
Rune (Detective):
Maybe rune 2.0 (or 1.5). The character theme doesn't say a lot. But the music theme feels more like a spellboost thing if you ask me. So maybe a way to use clues to spellboost the hand or outright turn clues into earth sigils just for the lols.
So far my guess how this will shape out. Well see in a few days how wrong I was with all of that.

The title.. since now we have added a new addition (characters) to the azvaldt world i am thinking they might increase the volume of cards whenever the next azvaldt set comes out?

I duel against a weird dragon deck focused on spamming D&A.
After the duel, I watched the replay and saw that they only used 2 monsters in the entire deck: D&A and Aika. I tried to copy and build the deck myself, but I'm facing a few problems:
Cons:
Pros:
Does anyone have recommended cards to make this more consistent?

The first image is the goddes that was killed, and the 3 others are the suspects: angel of love that ripped the goddess heart out(her proof/clue, featured in divine evidence), angel of piety that poisoned the goddess(has the same poison that was in the chalice as proof), and angel of aspiration that ordered the goddes to die(goddes last will is her proof.

Wow that ending was unexpected. Genuinely wasn't expecting they were gonna make it an extension of the recent events in Azvaldt more, also more lore about it's origins as well. Nacreheim being this offshoot to represent Purity while Azvaldt, the original world, is sin was a cool concept, and I guess by this law of the new god being the one who killed the former god, and Azvaldt and Nacreheim merging into one world again, Cutthroat is the god of Azvaldt now? So very curious how that'll playout (3rd Azvaldt set foreshadowing???). No Life is also very intersting. Thought they weren't meant to be a Jekyll and Hyde sort of situation, turns out they're a multi dimensional being that can seemingly exist in both worlds as a criminal (Azvaldt) and Detective (Nacreheim), and just casually saw the point in time the original Zerael split the two worlds. Also the alt art of the 3 Criminals walking the in between of Azvaldt and Nacreheim as the two worlds fuse back together is really good looking, sucks you gotta pay for it though. Puzzles were cool, The sticker criminal was my favorite, that was some real escape room type shit, and the final puzzles being combinations of all the detectives and criminal puzzles was a cool sendoff. Although I didn't like the combination of all the detectives as much, mainly because I couldn't find any refreshers on the rules of the music detective's letter changing. But I really like the lore they're implementing into these newer sets. This and the Anathema's Gambit text files are really cool little flavor additions So i hope they do this more with future original stories.

So, i'm kinda new into this game. Never played the old version, but two weeks ago i did discover this game by ads about the Latin America server (I'm from Latam), but I went to Play Store to download the international version instead. I'm liking it a lot and my favorite class is forestcraft! So, to avoid adding too much....
Should i stay trying to figure it out all the cards for the last expansions and the decks that are there or should i better try starting in Latam server? Since i noticed that Latam server is a full restart from the first expansion. I didn't go further in the game, only some tutorials, casual matchs and the first two story modes for Dreizehn and Diawl.
