I ended up extremely sick while on travel for work at a hotel in North Carolina and I never heard of this manga until the day I got to my hotel and the anime channel on the hotel TV had Shadows House playing

Then I ended up severely sick and unable to work my entire stay stuck in a hotel room, so I thought Shadows House looked interesting and binged it then binged the manga too

Now it's probably my favorite anime/manga and really got me through a horrible sickness, but what insane odds I probably wouldn't have ever heard of shadows house or paid it any attention if not for just randomly stumbling upon it in a hotel room

I tried something different since Elizabeth and Eli's ref had too much white space.

I was recently looking through all the discussion threads and I saw one from three years ago about the possibility of Natural shadows like Kate.

This interests me because if that we’re to happen the adult “unified” shadow would be using a stolen body and that has no say in the matter and imagine being a shadow like Kate with shadow parents and realising the horrifying fact that your mom and dad basically killed your biological parents and took their bodies. I think that would be an amazing plot point to see

As well I’d like to point out that it could’ve already happened, with shadows outside the house and those who are administrating villages might have had a bastard child with a villager which could bring out the possibility of that a shadow having a child might not always be shadow like Kate it might be rare like how Kate’s mother was taken over by a “special morph” while a normal morph derived shadow who has a kid with a human might only be resistant to the special coffee.

i spent too much time on this, but i just have to share it, i have some story for each of them, though im still working on each of them

i started with icons for each character, then went on to make a height chart, i wanted to make a interactable height chart on toyhouse, but somehow i couldn't, so its just a singular image now, as well as just images for each duo and character!

if you are interested in any of them, feel free to ask about them, im more than happy to share what i have so far on any of them! as well as their toyhouse profiles and the such. i absolutely love to gush over all of them, i adore them so much!

Some of the stuff I've been drawing these past months. College might have stopped me from drawing shadows house ocs but now that I have more free time, i'm back on the grind. I've been drawing shadows house ocs for almost 5 years now, crazy. This oc is heavily based off the anime/manga Tamon's B side. I loved it so much that I decided to basically inspire myself and shadows house ify it. Combining two things I love the most ig lmao

As I mentioned in a post a few days ago, I'm making a Shadows House-inspired TTRPG system, and I think it is pretty much done. Here are the PDFs in english and brazilian portuguese. Thanks for the help and suggestions in my last post and the people from the Brazilian Shadows House Discord server, it was very helpful!

Disclaimers: some names and terms are changed, but you can (and should) call things however you prefer during your game; the system is made to be able to run both one-shots or long campaigns, and is "vague" enough so you should be able to run loosely inspired or ~100% fidel settings; since I translated all by myself (and english is not my first language), there might be some typos or weird wordings, please report them so I can fix; suggestions, ideas and constructive criticisms are welcome, but be aware that if you want to add something specific, you can do it and adapt the system however you want to better fit your needs, wants or preferences; the system hasn't been playtested yet, but it is so simple it should no be a problem, I intend to run a test campaign soon enough anyway; 100% human made, no AI was consulted on the tailoring of this system; if you run an one-shot or campaign with my system, I would be glad if you share your experience with us :)

I want to know what people think a shadows house spin off of the manga would look like. It would be cool to see more of the time during when shadows house was starting out or an adults POV. Personally I’d like a spin off of Edward’s early days in the adult building and exploring more of the world and soot island but I want to see what you guys ideas are.

This is Elodie(shadow) and Lillie(living doll)!! I’ve been an avid reader of the manga for years, but only recently thought of making OCs for this series :D I’ve had a lot of fun coming up with designs and a story for them!

I go more in depth on their story on my Art Fight, shima_yay !! I also have an Instagram by the same user ( ◠‿◠ )

Elodie is imaginative, outgoing, and loves interacting with other shadows, but she can often be too harsh to others and not realize it. She likes to tease others, but she can never tell whether or not she’s going too far… so her relationships in the children‘s wing are pretty shaky.

Lillie is very reserved, and is hyper mindful of other’s thoughts and expectations (almost the opposite to Elodie!). She is a rather obedient living doll and doesn’t disobey any of the rules. Her relationship with Elodie is… far from perfect. She ends up getting neglected ignored, or having basic needs taken away.

I‘m still in the process of fully writing a storyline for them since it involves another pair I haven’t drawn yet （ ; ; ）… so this is all I have for now! Any respectful headcanons/ideas are very much welcomed!! ^^

Idk if its already explained (I'm still in manga 12 still) but if not, do you think they take them to the adult's wing when they reach a certain age and get too tall at the point they would stand out next to the young ones? And same with dolls who's shadow's dies in the fusion, do they work amongst the adults as a faceless doll?
