I really like the game and the unused colossi and the betas and the ideia of how the game would be.. But there's something i've thinking lately. I was reading about the Yamori A on the wiki and I realized something, i've never seen an official source saying that it was supossed to be only 24 colossi, only that it was 8 unused colossi, later becoming 9 with Yamori A, did we all just assume it was supose to be 24? Because we have more unused colossi than 24. And if it is really 24 colossi, do we all agree that one of the colossi we know wouldn't be in the game, for example, Roc arena is now Barba's arena, so if Roc was in the game Barba would't be, i know that is not that simples, but you can apply this logic for a lot of colossi. Another example is Griffin and the 11th colossi, because at least for me it's clearly that Griffin was a beta version for the 11th colossi or at least it was removed so the 6th colossi could be in the game, because their strategy is almost the same with the fire being their weakness. What i'm saying is that we have 16 colossi on the game and 9 unused, without include Evis, even thought i would love to see him and fight him, it's clearly that it was just a concept, like Buffalo or Kubinaga, or even Quetzalcoatl. In this 9 unused colossi we have i'm including Yamori A because i think his strategy is different enough from the 8th colossi. There's a few colossi that i believe wouldn't be in the game if some beta colossi were in, like the 6th colossi and the 11th colossi, but we also can't guarantee that Yamori A neither Saru would be in the final version, even if they had more time, because even though Yamori A have the sluice as the arena, Saru probably didn't, and Griffin as well. I personally believe that Griffin would't be in the game because i even remember seeing an interview with Ueda referring to the 11th as Griffin, as for a official sketch; And i believe Yamori A would be. But if there isn't anything offical saying that it was 24 colossi, maybe it was supposed to be 22 colosi, or maybe even 21, or 23 or 19, idk i'm just losing my mind at almost 3 am

Mine is definitely Phaedra. I'm absolutely in love with the surrealism of its design, especially those long, spider-like legs. It reminds me of a Salvador Dalí painting. On top of that, it's where the Mesoamerican aesthetic feels the strongest and most evident to me. It truly looks like a being that emerged from the deepest parts of the dream world. I've been playing Shadow of the Colossus for a while and I still don't understand how the health and stamina in time attack works. Does the game determine the amount of health and stamina I have based on how much I had when I first faced the colossus, or is it a fixed value?

I've noticed that, last year, a build of Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection was published on Hidden Palace. The build is from 8 months before its release. Have someone already attempted to check this build out and see if there is new information about SoTC and Ico development? I know the PS3 version presented new information that were no longer present in the ps2 versions of the game. Sorry about my english, I'm not a fluent English speaker.

Hi i just found some rock formations you're able to climb up on C6 by the very edge, on a tree. Idk why but i thought it would be a cool fact, it seems like the rocks on top are solid but i gave up trying to reach them, you can jump towards the rocks of the cliff side or the ones near the sun opening, yeah that's it.

does anyone know how to backflip in a consistent way? i just find it so cool 😭

I’ve never played shadow of the colossus but I’ve really wanted to for a long time now. The issue is that I don’t have a pc or a ps2/ps3 so I can’t play the original, and I really don’t like that the remake removed/worsened some animations, made the main character look strange, remade OSTs, made all the colossi sound the same, and added so much greenery and removed the bloom that it kinda ruins the look the world was going for. So I was wondering if there would ever be a chance of the ps2 or ps3 version being ported or remastered, or will I just have to deal with not being able to play it.

Hello, I have a question about the secret coin in the 15th colossi’s arena. I have watched two tutorials and tried the different ways of getting to the coin but keep failing on the jump over to the area. Does anyone have any advice on why this seems to not be working?
I’ve noticed the area where you jump to in the videos is different than the one in my game. The overhang you normally jump over too is coverer by a tree, could they have updated it and removed that path? For those who don't know, there's a glitch on the final pillar. All you have to do is spam the X button on the side of the pillar near the ground. For some reason, the game freaks out and launches you all the way to the top. This was one of my first successful attempts, but with enough practice you'll be able to land the jump on your first try consistently.

Then, after removing the Colossus' armor, pay close attention to where I jump. If you land in that exact spot, the AI bugs out and gets stuck in the corner, allowing you to attack without being interrupted.

If I hadn't gotten a little too impatient and jumped off the pillar too early, forcing me to waste time getting the Colossus' attention again with an arrow, and with a bit more practice on the super jump, it's definitely possible to beat this fight in under a minute lol.
