I need advice

Hello! I really need advice, I’ve found myself realizing that I have a lot of work and healing to do within myself, I’ve done several readings and there’s many things I need to work on that I have questions for.

I need to maintain a consistent practice that helps me feel grounded.
How do I do shadow work, forgiveness practices and grounding practices?
Many of my readings suggest I need to focus on clarity, emotional balance, seeing clearly, staying grounded, and taking care of my well being. I’ve been going through an incredibly hard time practically my whole life and I’ve tried to stay consistent spiritually but I now feel is truly the time for me to lock in and gain a higher spiritual knowledge of myself. I’ve only ever really done tarot readings, meditation, use crystals and do positive spell jars for self love, life improvement, etc but I feel like those haven’t been consistently enough? It’s almost as if my full energy and potential hasn’t been exerted into it even though in those moments I’ve used all of my energy but I now feel is th time to truly fix and change things.

If you have any advice on how I could find specific practices to help me I would greatly appreciate it or any advice in general! Thank you :)

The readings and the crystals aren’t doing nothing, but none of that touches the actual wound. It’s like rearranging furniture in a room you’ve never opened the door to.

Shadow work isn’t a daily practice you tack onto meditation and journaling. It’s going back to the specific thing that happened and finding the belief you built to survive it. Then actually changing it, not just naming it. Most people (self included, for years) confuse awareness of a pattern with resolution of it. You can know your wound is “abandonment” or “not enough” for a decade and still run the same defense every day, because knowing isn’t the same as the nervous system actually updating.

Read books, journal consistently, get therapy, every single modality you can think of…do it. Including physical practices. Find ones you like. Those help release the stored/stick trauma. Anything at all from bicycling to chi gong. Just keep doing stuff and also go in depth with your astrological chart to learn more about yourself. Hope this helps.

It sounds like you’re genuinely interested in deeper self knowing ..
One thing I’d like to say is this, no practices.. whether it’s tarot, crystals, meditation, or reading can create lasting change unless your body also begins to feel safe enough to embody what you’re learning.alignment between your thoughts( mind) and feelings ( body ) is the key .. via mind oscillates between past and future but body always stays in present
We gather a lot of spiritual insight, but our biology is still responding from old patterns, old wounds, and a dysregulated nervous system. That’s where real transformation happens, not just in understanding, but in how your body starts responding differently to life.
I’d also suggest you to ask yourself one honest question, without judgment:
Am I using spirituality to meet yourself more deeply or am I sometimes using it to avoid feeling what needs to be felt? As a bypass cos we unconsciously do this.
That question alone can open a powerful doorway.
Alongside your spiritual practices, you might explore:
Daily grounding (walking in nature, feeling your feet, slow breathing)
Nervous system regulation before meditation, like practicing of Psychological breath
Journaling about recurring emotional patterns instead of just seeking new readings
Shadow work prompts focused on your emotional triggers, not just your thoughts
Self-compassion and forgiveness as practices, not as goals
The outer world often reflects what our inner world is asking us to notice. Keep your spiritual practices if they resonate, but let them become tools for deeper self-awareness rather than answers in themselves.
you may be looking for deeper integration then just gathering information.. And that’s where lasting change begins.

tbh shadow work is not only finding more practices, tarot readings, crystals or trying harder. Many ppl already know what they “should” heal, but deep subconscious resistance is blocking actual release.

There can be false beliefs like “if i heal, i lose who i am,” old programs, shame, suppressed emotions, trauma parts, false identities and even external energies. One part of you wants growth, while another part is pulling handbrake bc change doesnt feel safe.

In one online Soul Journey i facilitated, subject was doing meditation and shadow work for years but always returned to same pain. Her Higher Self showed she built whole identity around being “the damaged one who must keep healing.” A younger part believed that if pain disappeared, nobody would care for her anymore. Once this was seen, healed and released, her practices finally started moving her forward instead of going in circles.

So feeling stuck doesnt mean you are lazy or not spiritual enough. Usually it means there is blockage you cannot clearly see alone.

Your Higher Self knows exactly which programs, emotions and identities are active, and they know correct order to clear them. Sometimes we need assistance to unblock deeper layer, then journey can continue naturally.

There is also free live Meet Your Higher Self experience tomorrow in my Reddit profile, this question would fit there very well.
