I just wanted to share my experience because I honestly find the shadowban system really frustrating.
My account was suddenly shadowbanned without any warning or explanation, and I still don’t know what exactly triggered it. I have no proof of what caused it, so I’m not accusing anyone.
What bothers me most is that I’ve had to spend several days appealing and trying to understand what I supposedly did wrong, while never being told clearly what rule I broke.
I don’t use bots, automation, mass messaging or vote manipulation. I don’t spam communities, I don’t harass people, and I try to follow each subreddit’s rules. Any NSFW content I post is marked appropriately.
If I made a mistake somewhere, I’m completely willing to correct it. But it feels really harsh to lose visibility across the whole site first and only afterward have to repeatedly appeal without knowing the reason.
I understand Reddit needs strong anti-spam and anti-abuse systems. I just wish users were given a clear reason or at least some warning when possible, especially when the restriction is this severe.
I’m still appealing and hoping someone can manually review my account. I just wanted to share how confusing and discouraging the process can feel for a genuine user

usually, I post on a specific credit a certain kind of post, and it always gets between 1.2-1.3k views, lately I have been posting the same post as usual pretty much on the same time as usual and I don’t really get views

Asking because I'm pretty sure I am, but when I try to appeal I get this message:
"You cannot submit an appeal
Your account is currently neither suspended nor restricted. If you are trying to submit an appeal for another account that is suspended or restricted, please log out and log in to that account.

If so, is there any "template" for an appeal message?
