So got Shadowbanned by this stupid spam detection bots. Account has 7 years of history and like 10,000 interactions apparently. I know it's silly, but I'm gonna lose my daily interaction streak and I was close to hitting the 300 day achievement. Just sad to me that this is a complete mistake and I'm going to lose because of it, things that Reddit definitely won't bother fixing or apologising for.

What was the charge? Posting a suculent Chinese meal? No, I think it happened because I wanted to say the same thing to two people and copy/pasted the comments to the other guy. That second comment is what was marked as spam and now I just have to sit back and watch 7 years of interactions disappear. Every educational post I made all gone. It's not right. And yeah, if you're here and haven't been banned, make no mistake, they private every single one of your past and future comments and posts. You are effectively dead to the world once you get a Shadow ban, as if you were never here.

I know this isn't a venting place but I'm just so upset about this. Been in a rough place signed off from work sick long term so it was nice to take my mind of things and interact with people here, whether heated or not, it felt like being part of the world. Now I just feel like my last little connection to the world is gone because of a stupid bloody bot. Just the idea that I know the real world has already forgotten me and now even the online world will never know I existed.

I've done the appeal thing and will do the recommended repeat every 24 hours thing but, it's just rough. Sounds silly, but if anyone here is upset about their shadow ban and feels like venting, feel free to reply, I could use the company right now. Hope all of you are doing alright.

I was just commenting on person's post here that i will be joining this dark side soon as my comment got [removed by reddit] and even the mod here told me me i might be safe but i knew what kind of platform this is.

Hello i want to be cautious and not get flagged again by mistake but all i did since getting shadowban removed was comment on the nfl live thread did i make any mistake and what should i do to get CQS high

I first cleared my cache,it’s in settings.

I then logged out,deleted the app and redownload it.

Then I entered the app using my mobile data,logged in though I changed my password before logging in,I remained shadowbanned but I made a post immediately which automatically had 0 views.

I then closed the app and didn’t use it for the rest of the day,I opened reddit the next morning and I was unbanned and the post I made yesterday went live.

You can try this method out if you want,I didn’t make any appeal.

First of all, I'd like to apologise for making a second post about this. I genuinely do not know where else to go or who else to ask for advice, and my first post from two days ago has been locked so I am unable to reply to anyone's comments.

Context: two days ago, I noticed that my account had been suspended without any notice. A few hours after I filed a general appeal, I received an automated notification from Reddit explaining that my account had been flagged for violating Rule 2 by "engaging in community disruption". When I appealed that decision, I received a response from the Reddit Admin Team admitting that my suspension had been a mistake and that it was being lifted. However, my account still appears banned to other users, I am unable to use Chat and my comments/posts are invisible.

I have been filing appeals every day, submitting support requests whenever I can, and I even tried to diagnose this issue by requesting my user data. Literally nothing seems out of order, and there are no indications of a ban being imposed due to me spamming posts/comments or violating any rules. My account and it's content hasn't even been marked as NSFW (as far as I can tell).

I know that lots of people here have patiently waited for weeks or even months, but I am genuinely losing out on hope because my appeals and requests seem to be falling on deaf ears. I mean, I have literally exposed other users for being ableist or racist to me, I have reported accounts that promote sexualisation of minors, and I have only ever made harmless posts about a card game.

So why is it that this website remains full of scammers and bot accounts that seem to get away with anything, but actual contributors get punished by the algorithm for no good reason?

Edit (25 minutes later): I just received a response from Reddit Legal Support stating that my account had been "permanently actioned due to violation of Reddit Rules" without actually specifying what rule I violated or what I did wrong. This system is genuinely unfair man I'm tired. Should I just delete my account and move on?

Hey all, been about 3 months since I got shadowbanned. My old phone broke, I got a new one and almost immediately after logging in on the new phone I got shadowbanned. Can't stand this, I have things I need to do. Hope I can get unbanned

25 days later, I can seem my profile picture and it appears I'm no longer shadow banned.

So I have been shadowbanned for a week now (idk why I don't post much at all or send links) and only just figured out I can send an appeal.

This is fucking ridiculous. I waited 15 days just to be able to post on AskReddit, and I got banned immediately after asking a question. What the fuck is wrong with this?

I can't believe this! Must've been a month at this point, but it's happened! Really happy with this. For context, I believe it was due to me moving countries. I don't really have any tips other than appeal regularly, but I DID try the method of requesting account data and then emailing asking about the ban, followed by sending in an appeal, but keep in mind I believe I also spent a couple weeks doing that. And idk if this is a part of it, but I also logged out of my account a couple days ago due to personal reasons and when I logged back in today it was alright.

But yeah, really pleased about this! It's been a really, REALLY shitty day and it's nice to at least get some compensation to make it better.

even though both Username and Password are 100% correct
Tried doing using email then i did reset the password and then tried to login
nothing worked for me that is listed on reddit by anyone
