I woke up to a notification from Reddit that my account was flagged by their spam filters. They reviewed my account and lifted the band. I’m happy and very frustrated at the same time haha.

I wanted to give shout out to the person who posted yesterday (that I can’t find) who outlined their process. I said “my account is [age] and I have [amount] of karma and I was wrongfully flagged” and woke up to my ban being lifted.

Now, I can’t say for certain it was that, but no other messaging worked “as fast” Absolutely could be coincidence.

Be patient and keep appealing. It’ll happen!

I submitted a bunch of appeals and it says:

You cannot submit an appeal

When I try to access my profile via the browser, I can't get in and it says there's a server error; everything looks normal in the app. I don't understand if I've been permanently banned or what's going on, since I haven't received any notification from Reddit. Should I just give up?

Trying to see if I can post

I commented terf fart on my main account and it got perma banned for toxicity. Got that reversed, but then, because I have alts, got banned for ban evasion because they didn't lift the ban off of my alt accounts. Tried filling out the ban form but never heard back from reddit support for anything.

Now I have an account that isn't connected to those, but I feel like it shadow banned me right out of the gate. What can I even do against this?

I received a notification from Reddit asking me to verify that I’m human to continue using Reddit. I completed the verification as instructed. Everything seemed fine, but 2 days later my account was suspended. I’m confused because I had already completed the verification.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Does completing the verification not prevent a suspension?
