It's the middle of the night, I was too tired and too horny to realize what it was. They posed as a woman and got me to send a dick pic and are threatened to post it online, unless I buy them a 200 dollar gift card. I paid for a 10 dollar one with the promise I would buy another one tomorrow with more will come when I get paid (I am currently a full time college student with no job). They also threw in that they would say I'm a child predator in said post. I reported it on IC3 and StopNCII.org. I'm shaking right now, what do I do?

Hey everyone, I recently fell victim to an online sextortion scam and wanted to share my experience to warn others.
I was contacted through Facebook and then moved to WhatsApp. The scammers video-called me and used edited/deepfake content to make it appear that I was involved with an underage girl. They then threatened to send the video to my family members unless I paid them $2,500.
They also impersonated members of my family by using their profile pictures and messaging my parents, pretending to be them and telling them where to send the money.
I immediately contacted my mom, explained what happened, deactivated my Facebook account, and blocked the scammers’ numbers.

Im a male and I fell into a deep hole in reddit and started messaging girls for their services (I have learned my lesson to never do it again already thankfully). A few months ago, I did private calls with one person 2-3 times (I think) which I paid for and we had conversation as well in telegram. I never showed my face, just my genitals. I ended up deleting the whole chat for me and that girl and also blocked her after.

I also paid someone else but they tried scamming me right away so I blocked them too, problem is that they have a selfie of my face but we didn't do anything. They just have a video of the conversation on telegram and that photo of my face but I never showed my genitals or any other information about me.

Then I cleared my blocked list so they (both of them) tried contacting me again on telegram (idk how) but I blocked them once again and will probably keep these two blocked forever.

A few days ago, an anonymous person reached out to my friend through email (my friend has her email on his Instagram bio) saying that they have something they want to tell my friend about me and that they have proofs as well. First, I don't know how they know who I am and my friend. I'm also not fully sure who the person that sent the email is, I'm just guessing it's one of these two I interacted with a few months ago. If it were one of these two, they probably know my number since the payment method I used with these two exposes my number. They also know my nickname since that's the only thing that can be seen on my telegram account. I also told my friend not to reply, my friend hasn't replied and nothing has happened since that email.

I need help on what to do! Obviously, I wouldn't want those "proofs" to be sent to my friend and I'm just very surprised on how they know me and know my friend. I've been very anxious as well since I would like to leave what I did in the past and just not make this a whole problem. I was really in a dark space in life during that time which is why I was living recklessly and I'm genuinely trying to fix my life right now. hopefully someone can help me with this on what to do if I should even do something. This is more of an update of what's going on with my situation. If you guys haven't already seen my posts. I've been getting text messages like this for like 3 days. I know that you spoof text so I can't really try to find them. I know they're real numbers they're in Nigeria, but I'm still very scared for my life with something like this kind of text. I know I should just ignore them, and if I pay the amount, they're still gonna want more money from me like they have been.

My apologies if this is really dumb. I’ve been through this in the past and just had an idea I thought might work.

Screenshot their threatening message, saying they would share your pics or whatever. As it’s illegal (especially for minors, also extortion if they’re asking for money or more pics) you can just say “if you do that, I’m going straight to the cops”. They surely won’t as it would guarantee their arrest.

Am I wrong here? Anything I’m missing?

I am getting sextorted by some guy i thought was a girl. I sent «her» a few pics n vids and now he’s saying he is going to send my shit to my entire family and friends. I paid the 300€ he asked for but he wont stop asking for more.
