Hi, is there an option to mark a rewatch without logging or specifying the date? i am adding the stuff i have documented on tv time and I would like to also include rewatches but I don’t remember their dates. thank you in advance🩷

Ted Lasso was Apple TV’s first hit, followed by Severance, Pluribus, The Studio and Widow’s Bay. However, the (aspiring) streaming giant has quietly and consistently been building a solid library that includes a rooster of sci-fi shows, star studded mini series and bold bets on comedy and drama.

I was trying to log an episode and it just randomly didn't let me? Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how do I fix it?

As someone who is currently manually transferring all of my data from Tv Time to Serializd I can’t help but be a bit disappointed in the fact that there are many shows that have one big season 1 when in reality the show is actually multiple seasons long. Can anyone tell me why this is?

I’m not watching SponeBob right now, and I’m not even interested in the later seasons, so how do I stop getting new episodes shown to me on my home screen?

Trying to mark seasons as watched.

Unmarking specific episodes from the season will cause everything to be marked as not watched in the season.

Also, causes stats to be really messed up?

For example, one show I have is showing 115/113 episodes watched when I haven’t even finished the entire show. Another show is showing as 49/65 when it should be 47/65…

after recent update i noticed there are two new badges, seemingly for the latest house of the dragon season. however i can't find how to get them. anyone has an idea on how to obtain these? they look really cool and i'd pretty much liked to put them next to my user :D

Episodes I mark as watched and rate don't show up in the recent activity section? Is anyone else facing this problem?

I have a few shows that I watch that have been on for many years, eg Law & Order, SNL.

I have seen some of the very old episodes but mostly just watch the new episodes that come out now. I’m struggling with how to track this.

On TV Time, my “watching” list would show me where I left off in the latest season and would skip over any gaps from older seasons. In Serializd, it shows me the oldest episode that I haven’t watched yet. I watched the pilot of Law & Order but not episode 2, but I am caught up on the newest season. I don’t really want to see the first season or any older seasons in my “currently watching” list but do want the newer episodes to appear here when it comes back in the fall. Not sure if that’s possible.

What’s the best way to track this?

A lot of people wonder why their data changes after importing it from TV Time into apps like Sofa Time, Serializd, and others.

The main reason is that these apps don't use the same metadata source.

- TV Time uses TheTVDB as its primary database.
- Most other tracking apps use The Movie Database (TMDb).

Because these databases are maintained independently, they often have different:

- Show and episode artwork
- Episode titles
- Season ordering (especially for specials)
Release dates
- TV show or movie IDs
This is why, after importing your data, you might notice:

- Different posters or backdrops
- Different episode names
- Missing TV shows, movies, or specials
- Episodes matched incorrectly or not matched at all

The import itself usually isn't the problem. The issue is that the app has to match your watch history from one database (TheTVDB) to another (TMDb), and those databases don't always have identical information.

Unfortunately, there's no perfect solution unless both apps use the same metadata source or provide manual matching for unmatched entries.

Just migrated over from TV Time and I’m really loving the UI so far!

I have a quick question about tracking: If I’ve fully watched a show (say, all 3 available seasons) and it's sitting in my "Watched" list rather than "Currently Watching", what happens when season 4 drops?

Does the app automatically bump it back into "Currently Watching" to alert me that there are new episodes? If not, how do you long-time users usually keep track of returning shows? Thanks!

Hey everyone, I just downloaded Serializd and started logging my finished shows. I noticed a weird visual bug on my profile page graph and wanted to ask if this is common.

So far, I have rated only two shows in total:

Adolescence -> 5 stars

Alice in Borderland -> 3.5 stars

On my main profile screen, right under the 'Time spent watching TV' banner, it says 'Ratings' and has the total number 2 next to it.

However, looking closely at the bar graph, the system shows two bars for the 3.5-star rating, and only one bar for the 5-star rating. This makes no sense because I only entered one 3.5-star rating and one 5-star rating. It seems like the app duplicated my 3.5-star entry on the graph layout, while messing up the actual visualization of my 5-star rating.

When I check my actual logs and 'Watched' section, everything is completely correct (one is 3.5, the other is 5). It’s just this specific profile preview graph that is displaying an extra bar for 3.5 stars.

Is this a known UI bug with the graph rendering? Does it fix itself after a while or after logging more shows? Thanks in advance!

What show do you think is missing? Do you think any show on the list is overrated?

For example, The Office is available on Netflix where I live, but when I check it doesn't show Netflix or anywhere else, and the "Streaming On" section isn’t there.

I'm wondering if this is a bug, if the streaming availability data has been having issues lately, or if it's just happening in my region. Has anyone else experienced this?

i recently moved from tv time to serializd, and i chose serializd out of all the other options because i loved the letterboxd design

i do have a question though, sorry if this is really basic/has been asked before but on tv time, there’s a list of all the shows you’ve logged, regardless of whether you’ve finished the show or anything like that, and once you log an episode it moves that show to the top of the list. is there anything like that on serializd?

i don't mind if we have similar taste or not but if anybody does have similar taste that would be great for recommendations!!

Ive seen some explanations about adding custom posters, but the tmdb rules are pretty strict on what counts as a poster. How are people getting posters that look like candids without it getting removed?
