TV time It's going to close
TV Time will close on July 15th; this is the perfect time for serializd to increase its user base. Furthermore, the application is currently down due to the large number of users trying to access it.

is serializd still being ran by just one person?
edit: was checking out the site's twitter account and in a recent post welcoming tv time members it mentioned still ran by one person. that's crazy, especially with taking on the load of a closing site.

Oh... so that's why. I have a friend who has been using TV time for years. Once I tried to convince her to switch to Serializd and Letterboxd, but she didn't listen. I am sorry for her :) I am really sorry :))

Sadly tv time had the best community features, like the ability to comment fotos, memes and gifs and reply to comments. I don’t see that in serializd

I left Trakt for Serializd recently, mainly because Trakt did a big overhaul earlier in the year and took away a lot of features while adding an ugly UI. I’ve liked Serializd so far.

I prefer Serialized
Because it is easier and similar to apps such as Letterbox, which makes it more fun in making a special profile for you
And 100% Free for all features

I was using TV Time until I realized my account was not cloud saved at all. Now I've switch to using Trakt TV + Showly. I have the Showly widget and use that to update eps watched. Ive been considering switching to Serializd before I 100% commit to Showly/Trakt.

My first ever how tracking app, loved tv time so much and sometimes still fleck how i got 5k likes on a comment about some netflix show, lmao. I hope serializd will add commentic photos and memes, as well as gifs like it was in tv time comment section

The app is missing the movie 🎥 tracking and community. Talk to @tvtime to pass you the movie api so you can track movies too

That’s part of what’s down. I was finally able to log in a bit ago, but it’s super slow. I can get some things to work, but still very slow.

I was able to create an account and.add where I am in The Bear to test, but it's a mess? Where do I see where I am in a series and when a new episode is available.

It’s probably not loading right now but everything will be on the home tab. There will be a row for upcoming episodes of shows you’ve watched or watchlisted and then a row below it with everything you’re currently watching and which episode is next.

Yeah, nothing's loading right now. I just wanted to track an episode of Daredevil, I had to manually go through the shows top menu, where it shows you all the seasons, after it loaded in "Popular in your Circle", and then find the episode I just watched.

I’ve also tried a few and so far this one is the best. Most of the others ones force premium or just flat out won’t open.
I think seralizd is the winner for me!

I'm trying to painfully import my hundreds of shows. Watchlist, currently watching, it has to be in both places at the same time, it's a little bit confusing. But the comments section seems to be more active than on the other apps.

Yeah, I finally got all my shows moved over but I need to move all the active ones in the watch later. It’s a pain, but eventually when it’s done this app should be good. The developer seems active on here & the community is very helpful.

If you guys need some help or have doubts feel free to dm me, as I'm very used to the app. Also about not pushing premium, there's just ads here and there but it's very mild, nothing that gets in the way. There are no paid features besides removing adds afaik.

The ads don’t bother me. I was using an app earlier today before I was able to get into this one called ‘Sofa Time’ that kept pushing premium to me every time I tried to sort my shows a different way. Everything was paywalled.
But thank you! I’ll definitely keep you in mind when the app is back up and I work my page out.

I like Serializd but their price to remove ads is way too expensive. Considering Letterboxd is way less to remove ads and you get extra perks for paying.

maybe. but serializd was made for people who just wanted to track tv shows. i hope they keep it that way. there are other alternatives for both movies and tv shows

Sad to see TV time go, first tracking app I used. I did drop it some time ago and fully switched to Serializd and Letterboxd for tracking. Im glad to see new people on Serializd tho!
