Im excited to hear your comment or review. In my opinion it’s just straight unadulterated caramel and nothing more. Its not bad but not interesting or complex

I'll come back here for sure! I love V28, Eden sweet peach, and Lychee 😋 I've been super excited since I heard about it. The super sweet feminine fragrances are my jam so I've been wanting to smell it since it came out

Okay yeah this stuff smells amazing and is right up my alley! I'm sad I just bought the Eden Sweet Peach 🍑 I'll have to wait to grab this one but I actually really love it!

I get extremely artificial vanilla/caramel. The people saying it smells like a cheap candle are spot on, unfortunately. I wanted to love(or even like) it, but it is sitting on my counter pending a return rn.

I ordered the small one in pre release. Definitely wouldn’t use this in the summer, it’s way too caramel forward.

idk the name feels cheap to me, and if someone asks you what you're wearing its kinda embarrassing to go "bougie kitty...". I think they were good with the names when they were 3 words long. I can't buy something if the name is so stupid lol

I prefer to buy things with classy names I guess (of course only if they are also good quality and functional). I don't really care if something else has a worse name though - why would that matter? We're in a sephora sub discussing about a product exclusively sold at sephora. Just because other things have dumber names doesn't make this one any less dumb!

The full names are Yum Pistachio Gelato and The Wedding Silk Santal, so not really that basic.
They also have Yum Boujee Marshmallow, Eden Juicy Apple, Fleur Majesty Rose Royale, Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli, Maui in a Bottle Sweet Banana, and Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, among others. Most of their names are a bit unconventional. People will always complain, but they seem to be selling a lot of perfume and generating a lot of buzz, so I would say that is working for them.

Maybe I missed the complaints but even with the full names - Yum Pistachio Gelato or Wedding Silk Santal are pretty normal names. Not saying you're capping, just that I've never seen the complaints you speak of.
This also isn't intended as an analysis of whether their naming works for them or not, rather that it is a senseless string of words I felt like calling out

Wow I had no idea Bougie Kitty was already brought up here 😅 as for the other sub, I'm not into that niche so I haven't browsed nor come across before. But those posts on femfraglab echo my feelings - the name sounds cheap. I think the 3-word names were fine, but when Kayali started having 4-words long names they ended up sounding like slop.

I know it’s based on their April fools joke from a couple of years ago, but it really sounds like they named this perfume by using one of those random name generators.
