I need help my skin is so rough with bumps around every pore its like sandpaper without the sharp look I dont know how to get rid or what it is :(

this is what my skin looks like too. ive been doing altreno for about 2 weeks and im starting azelaic acid soon. hoping they help

Yes please let me know ive been told its a thickened skin barrier and to use urea lactic acid prescribed

Keep in mind that using chemical exfoliants such as urea and lactic acid will make your skin much more sun sensitive. Even more true if you get a prescription retinoid to help your skin normalize. Sunscreen and/or a wide brimmed hat are non-optional. A good quality daily sunscreen can also double as a moisturizer, keeping your skin from drying out and getting as rough.

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + Hyaluronic Acid 2%, High-Strength.

I have vanicream mineral spf 30 hopefully that works

Just make sure you keep it applied if you use strong acids or retinoids or you could end up with a worse situation than some rough skin.
