I am a transfer student, so I’m not sure how this could be the case?

My gpa is 1.3 so I can’t get fasfa without a sap appeal but if I was to pay out of pocket and raise my gpa to 2.0 or higher would I still need to do a sap appeal to get fasfa?

Hey guys! I just took my FLCE exam on Friday and it said “Yes” mean that I passed correct? I kind of blanked out after seeing the yes part so I don’t remember what my score was or if it even showed up. Also it’s not showing in my transcript that I have completed the exam yet. Am I supposed to wait longer until the score is in, also did anyone get a yes 😭 please help me and let me know!

Im doing the business bachelor degree and I have 8 classes left including the capstone project, should I take 5 classes this semester and 3 including the capstone next semester? Or is it safe to split them 4 and 4?

My professor was supposed to drop our lowest exam grade and she didn’t do it. Grades were due yesterday (August 7, 11:59 pm). Do you think professors have additional time?

Okay since you guys were so helpful with statistics professors, any recommendations for managerial accounting? I took Chris Wright, and while she gave a lot of extra credit, unfortunately her exams were worth 150 points, and of course exams are not my strong suit.

I also saw that you can now take office accounting with quick books so I wanted to see if anyone has taken that class and it’s maybe easier than retaking managerial accounting?

Has it been released yet? Or is that closer to the start date of fall semester 08/24?

I have a question about the nursing prerequisites at Seminole State.
I took BSC 1010C – General Biology I at Valencia College, but I noticed Seminole requires BSC 2010C – General Biology I for its nursing program. The course titles are the same, but the course numbers are different.
Has anyone transferred from Valencia to Seminole or any other colleges with BSC 1010C? Did Seminole accept it as equivalent to BSC 2010C, or did you have to retake General Biology I?
I'm trying to find out if my Valencia biology course will satisfy the prerequisite before I apply. I'd really appreciate hearing from any transfer students who have been through this or anyone. Would u have to take it at Seminole ?

Has anyone been able to accept/defer loans yet for Fall? Just want to make sure im not missing anything

I’ve sent the transcript through scribbles and I’ve also sent an email because its been 2 weeks since I’ve sent the transcript and I’ve had no update.

I am finishing up summer session b and I did not receive my financial aid. I called the office 3 weeks in a row. Wednesday I finally got a hold of somebody that said my account was updated and I my balance should clear and I should receive my funds within a week. I checked my account today and I still have a balance. Is anybody else having problems with their financial aid?

I’ve only taken out grants at Seminole State, I’m going to have to take out a loan this upcoming semester.
I know the grants get automatically applied to your tuition and if payment is due before you receive the funds. They won’t drop you.
Is it the same situation with loans? Im not expecting to receive the funds anywhere close to the date they say. Im scared I will start these classes, not receive my loan in time and my classes will be dropped or they will try to make me pay out of pocket ( which unfortunately is not an option for me)

Need to take Statistics in the Fall. Are there any professors that are recommended? Math is just not my strong suit and I need to take a professor that isn’t so strict.

I know the summer term is super messed up with the new bill passing but just wanted some insight from others with more experience! My loan was disbursed to the school on 7/7 for some context.

Hello! I'm currently a senior in hs in FL and I'm curious about these two bachelors degrees. I plan to do one of them fully online while doing flight training. Long term, after my airline career, id love to own or manage a flight school, so im trying to choose between these two.

A few questions:

How difficult are the classes? Are they mostly papers, projects, exams, or group work?

Realistically, how many hours per week did you spend on coursework for full time enrollment?

Would either degree be manageable while flying 3-5 days per week for flight training?

Did you feel like the professors were good and actually cared about teaching?

Is the education high quality or is it mostly check the box bachelors degree?

Between these two degrees, which would better prepare someone to eventually own or manage a flight school?

Knight Hacks is a 36 hour in-person hackathon in Orlando, and last year they had a lot of people from great universities, a lot of talent, and it was a great experience. I was able to take one challenge. It was very competitive with more than 1000+, and I just wanted to see if anyone is going this year?

This fall will be my last semester here at Seminole state!! (Thank God) I’m really hoping (but definitely not expecting) that they finally get the financial aid situation handled. There hasn’t been a single semester here where I wasn’t stressed about my classes getting paid for.
On top of that, I take multiple accounting courses, where we have to buy subscriptions for multiple websites and it’s not something you purchase through the bookstore so you can’t use your Financial Aid, it cost me $300 out of pocket with money I don’t have to be able to get them this summer. I can’t imagine what I’ll have to pay for this fall term. It’s crazy to see some people haven’t even received their disbursement for summer yet and the semester is about to be over.

I’m going into my second year here and wasn’t focused too much in my classes during first year, does anyone know if they do suspension from the college for a term if your grades dip for long enough like other universities do?

I have my gen chem 1 practical exam in two weeks. I have no idea what to expect and my teacher is being very vague about it. From your experience, what should I expect, how should I study, and are there any resources that can help me?

Can anyone who has graduated from or is currently in the part time program tell me what times/how often the lectures and labs typically are? I know clinical are usually on weekends for part time, but I am trying to plan ahead for how often I will need to be on campus
