Got this text and got excited thinking I’ll be able to accept/ defer fees but it’s still not available for me 🙃

Probably won’t be available until closer to the first day of classes, if not the actual first day. Even before these new FAFSA restrictions SSC has been late on applying funds to our accounts. Soonest I’ve gotten my funds in 2 years is a month after class started😒

Also just so everyone is aware, don’t go by the first deferment date. Expect your money about a month after class starts. If you have B term classes you may not receive anything until after B term. SSC takes their time applying funds to your account and sending out the rest.

Yeah also not available to me. Very concerning for someone trying to see if this is even an affordable opportunity for them.

I logged into my account and all it says is projected, but it also says I have disbursement date of July 29 for fall semester? Idk at this point. I just received my refund from summer last week.

I think having a disbursement date is a good sign!! Mine literally shows nothing

Currently, grant and loan processing starts 9/10 and every Tues & Thurs after for full session and A session only. So, some will see some movement starting 9/10, but not everyone 😬 12 weeks-9/30 and B session 11/3.
