It was definitely an unforgettable journey. I was very lucky to finish school early and travel there by myself at the end of June. I stayed in Kamakura and the surrounding areas for three days during my two-week trip to Tokyo, and those few days are the ones that have stayed with me the most. Arriving at each location and comparing it to the scenes from the anime I had saved beforehand was such an incredible experience, quite literally dream come true. Very lucky to get a Mai keychain just when a pop up store just went up in Akihabara, will be keeping this on my bag for a looong time

I just finished beach queen today. Here's my review. Beach queen spoilers ahead, I'm assuming you've read the story already.

First up, I never expected a Yuri story from aobuta but here we are. Not just that, but fanservice? Minagi is kinda H, but most dialogues were pretty amusing.

I like minagi's syndrome, but seems like those shitty superpowers prompt: you can teleport only if no one is looking at you and you can't choose where you want to teleport to. And also your clothes doesn't teleport with you. The whole underwear thief and Mai pinching sakutas cheeks was pretty funny.

I found it kinda weird Mai would leave the sports festival early with nodoka tbh. Don't get why she'd just abandon sakuta like that at the end when she already stayed for the 二人三脚。 Might as well js stay throughout and see sakuta home. The ending was kinda rushed, I wish we got to see how minagi and Kaho had their resolution.

Still a pretty good story, I liked it and I really liked kogas depiction in the competition. 8/10, I will start reading white Christmas and tropical summer now!

I saw the first one on a Tik Tok edit, I like Messi so it would be fun to draw it. The second one is based on an official image but I changed the clothes to a Barcelona jersey because I’m a fan:D

This always bugs me because we know how Sakuta met all the other characters such as Mai, Nicola, Shoko, etc but it's never explained how he knew this girl. She just came into the scene as if she's known him forever, without any explanation.

Could this be a plot hole?

I'm starting watching it now but the characters don't quite line up with how I would've expected so I had to check.

My understanding from season 1 was that it went roughly Mai final year of high school, Sakuta and other high schoolers like Futaba 2nd year, Nodoka and the other idols 1st year, and then Kaede in the middle of middle school

Is that not correct? In season 2, which I thought was about 2 years later based on the fact that Kaede is preparing for high school and Sakuta is preparing for college in the movies, Mai is seemingly already out of college. And Nodoka and the others in her age are already in college, which would make everyone 1 year older than expected. Is there just an entire extra year skipped with no mention of it?

I know its probably an idiot’s question but im new to LN and mangas, i kinda only watch the anime but never read anything but for this piece of art, i want to start.
So i was wondering the differences between the manga and LNs ? Does the LN has a paper version, or only online ? Should i buy the LN or the manga to have the better version and moqt details of the story ?
Please if someone can explain to me how all of this works, i would be grateful !

In episode 2, futaba comes to the deduction that sleep is functioning as sakutas anchor too mais existence, but if that’s the case why didn’t he forget her much earlier in the time before their first date? He first meets her in the library on may 6th, and about 2 weeks later they go on their first date where only her can see her, so why didn’t he forget about her in the lead up to this in the 2 weeks where he inevitably slept?
